I had my RNY and gall bladder together on 3/26. I have had some diarrhea and am still having some pain. Going back to work tomorrow after 2 weeks. Good luck! -
I am 11 days out and all my incision sites are doing great but I have a constant pan by my belly button that the doc says is nerve pain. I am supposed to go back to work Monday and don't know if. Will be able to. Just feeling down. I thought. Would feel better by now.

Anyone else still having issues after 2 weeks? I go back to work tomorrow and don't know if I will make it.

Ok, so I have this pain, which is just left of my belly button and radiates downward. Doc put me on neurontin for nerve pain, but it doesn't seem to be helping. It feels as if something is in a bind. Maybe I am just paranoid. Thoughts? -

I had my surgery March 26th and I also gained 10 ponds while in hospital. It's all the fluids. I have already lost that 10 and an additional 14. So no worries. I agree the pain is no joke. I had my gall bladder out as well so I am still slow going -
What can I eat? If I drink one more sweet drink I am gonna gag. Help!

I have been having a terrible burning to the left of my belly button. It got really bad today (6days out). My doctor has put neurontin. Just wanted to know if anyone else has also experienced any nerve damage after surgery.

Keep calling your surgeon. If needed, call your hospital and speak to the nurse on call. My doc says the only bad question is the one you don't ask.
