reason2live replied to janel129's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am down 73 lbs since March 27 but I hit plateaus all the time. I wouldn't worry about it because you will start to lose again. Congrats everyone on your loss! -

How about some NSVs!?!?
reason2live replied to shyanne's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
NSV is I can now fasten seatbelt, cross legs(all I ever wanted to do), and sit in a stadium seat at a game. Whoo hoo -
I had this pain where I couldn't lay on my side after surgery, but it will go away. While you have surgery your body go thru so much wear and tear and it takes awhile for everything to get back in place. I still have a numbness in one of my legs but I read and was told that will get back to normal because of the nerves being cut as you have the surgery. I hope this helps

Hi everyone just to share with you all. Starting weight 440lbs, surgery day 421. Today makes 3 months out and I'm down to 364. I am so proud of my progress. I have never seen these digits before. Thanks y'all!

Can anyone suggest to me or have anyone else had a weight stall? What have everyone been doing to start their weight loss going again?

I know it's still early for me, I'm almost 3 months out and down 60 lbs but I'm still at a stand still.

Why is it that I feel hungry later in the evening and runs through the night. I eat ice in place of water because water makes me nauseated. I don't know what's going on. Maybe I'm not eating enough scared of dumping because I'm a fast eater no matter how I try to slow down. I'm trying though. Can someone help.

I know what you mean. Most foods to me are nasty now. I get nauseated from the Protein shake and water too. I get tired I just eat a Popsicle and eat on ice. It sucks but I guess it's a good thing. I am almost 2 months out on the 27th. -
I miss guzzling water
reason2live replied to MrsLulu's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I totally understand. I always just want to chug it down. But when I find myself thirsty I just eat Popsicles and suck on ice. -
I'm having a problem also with the Protein shakes. They make me want to throw up now after surgery. I don't now what else to do
