2 week lean protein diet question?

So I'm on day 8 of my 2wk lean diet and I'm only supposed to have 3oz of protein however I know that on a few days (like today), I had more than 3oz. I've always heard that you can never have too much protein (as far a meat) is that true? Should I be worried? -

My surgery is the 20th as well! I'm very excited, next Monday will not get here fast enough (I think, now that we only have 7 days left). I've been on a lean diet going on 8 days now and what has gotten me through is knowing that the prize is next Monday and beyond. Good luck on your diet I'm sure you will do fine. -

I think I'm just going to buy a few things to get me through my 1st week, but I'm afraid to stock up on a lot just in case my taste buds change.
