I have had sushi with out issue and hamburger. I find if I have something warm to drink before the meal I do much better. Also, don't forget to chew, chew, chew. I'm having 7 bean chicken chili for dinner. -
My weight loss the past month has been sort of slow. I keep waiting to wake up and see a big drop in weight. I'm similar to Mz Shay. Down 47 pounds from HW. My arms are not too bad but my legs look kind of lumpy. I will take it though. I sure wouldn't want to still have the extra weight we have all lost. I have been swimming at the Y and I believe this has helped my arms. I hope you all keep up the good work and never forget how far we have all come.

Hang in there Dee. HHang in there Dee. We have all been through the process and you will get beyond it. I will say a prayer and keep positive thoughts for you. Keep us all posted. You can do this. Congratulations on quitting smoking. That in itself is a huge accomplishment!!

My labs are week of Nov 11. I am curious to see how my blood levels are maintaining. What kind of headache medicine do you all take? I finally found a generic liquid Tylenol the pharmacist recommended that works on sinus/ allergy headache. Tylenol pills do absolutely for me.

I did it in a 2 step process. Had the band out August 2012 then had RNY in August 2013. Good luck with your weight loss journey. Keep us posted.

Can I ask what vitamins you all take every day?

Hello everyone! My stats HW 259 SW 247 CW 215 -- I seem to be in a stall like Mz Shay. It is probably my own falt, I struggle getting in the water and protein. I have 3 flights of stairs to my office and when I get to the top my bones are just tired, though I am not out of breath. Tomorrow I will try even harder with the water and protein and hopefully I will start to see results. Congrats to all of you on the journey so far.

Jerz, I know we aren't supposed to have much rice. I find if the rice is moist day in sauce and I eat small bites and chew up I can eat a little here and there. I love rice so I didn't want to give it up all together. Good luck on your journey to a new you!! -
My surgery was 8/22. I have lost about 43 pounds. Went from size 24 to 18. I struggle with protein and water. Before surgery water was not a problem. Now I have to force it down. I drink iced tea. Protein shakes most make me nauseous. I forget about chewing thoroughly and when I do I get that sick feeling in my stomach and have to visit the bathroom. Sorry if to much info but bm has consistency of milk shake. It's been this way since surgery. My legs are weak particularly when I climb 3 flights of stairs to my office. Sounds really bad but I feel much better at 217 than I did at 259. I would go through it all again in a heart beat.

Me too Mz Shay, it very well may be from not enough fluid. It feels more like allergy sinus and Tylenol does not budge it. I miss the Aleve a little it worked for me in the past. Keep us updated with how you treated your headache. I do not drink any caffeine so that is not a culprit. I hope you feel better.

Good for you MzShay. How are you feeling?

I noticed the weight loss in my face first. I considered this a blessing. I wanted to mention to Princess Sarah. You have to get some nutriotion and plenty of fluids. I hope you get some answers becase three days of nausea is hard on you. Hang in there and call the DR back if this persists.

Wow you have so much to feel good about! Congratulations. You look amazing!! Get out and enjoy life everyday. -
Tiny Mami, It breaks my heart to read your post about the abusive husband. I know your daughter won't choose a mate like her Dad. My parents yelled and screamed and called us names an awful lot when I was growing up. I beleive this is just as abusive as physically hitting someone because it tears down the self esteem and makes you believe you are worthless. I remember telling myself, I am going to be a more loving, kind Mother and I am going to choose a more loving mate. Every day you and your daughter have to stay in that environment is one more day too many. I sure hope for your sake and your daughters that everything works out the way you are hoping. I will keep you both in my prayers.
