I was gonna post this question also. Woke up at 4am with not bad but heartburn. First time since surgery! My dr. Told me when I had my RNY that it would cure the acid reflux. Have I done something wrong? My surgery was almost 3 months ago

I would!!! Usually you can get a free consult. As I was told many ins companies will pay for a tummy tuck and usually the surgeon can get it approved for you!

I did... But this time it hasn't been as severe as last time but my back killed me until today! It felt like a truck ran over my spine! My Neuro is still hoping it goes away when I loose the rest of my weight(45lbs.) but has brought up a vp shunt in the event it doesn't since I seem to have this severely. Not really sure what the heck that is but I'm sure he will explain it in Aug. if I am still suffering

I was the same way! The day I came home the contractors showed up to completely gut and redo our 2 bathrooms!!! I was up and down all day and they came at 7am and didn't leave until 4-5 most days for 6 weeks!!!! So I never got much rest and had to walk around all the crap they had all through both hallways!!! 3 months out and still don't get all 64oz of water a day. Usually it's between 45-50oz. When I first came home it was hard as hell but they told me just to try to drink as much as I could but don't beat myself up about it. That in time I would be able to handle more and more and that's exactly true !

They told you to eat meat already ??? It is it just the protein? I wasn't on puréed food like meat till 3 weeks post op. I started protein shakes( 3a day) once I fit home. Don't worry in time you will be able to drink more, don't fret about that just try to rest and heal!

Broiled shrimp with a little old bay and cocktail sauce I made with reduced sugar ketchup. Then maybe a bit if baked carrots

Thanks! Dr. Called me and is raising my Diamox back up to 2,000mg daily.... I hate taking that much because the side affects are horrible on that much! But it does help out a lot !

Yeah he's a great Dr. ! My surgery was 3-13-13 . Do you go to the meeting 1st Tuesday of every month?

Ok so around 4pm i started drinking an 8 oz. protien and pb2 shake. i only had about 2 oz. left @ about 4:40 give or take when all the sudden i felt like something was stuck in the bottom of my throat. it hurts to swallow and hurts all the way to in between my boobs. It hurts like hell. I tried drinking warm water to see if that helped but only made it worse. Here it is 6pm and it still feels the same. Has anyone else experienced this or know what is causing it? Im sared and in pain : (

This was only my second... It hurts like hell !!! Well like I already knew my csf was high, opening pressure was 38. Just waiting to get a call from my Neuro in what his action plan will be. Laying down in the bed all day and night. Hopefully I won't get another spinal headache !

Pb2 is powder peanut butter pretty much but it has 85% less fat than peanut butter. I mix 2 Tbsp with my protein shake. It had 45 cal. 5 carbs 1.5 g fat 1 g sugar and 5 g protein. I don't use it every shake but its a nice change from just chocolate every now and then

I paint mine all the time! I start with a clear base coat then color so that the color won't stain my row nails!! If I make a mess it usually comes off my skin next to the nail in the hot shower!

No, unfortunately I live in Virginia. About an hour south of Richmond( state Capitol ) I felt the same way about men and when I didn't want any men here comes new hubby... I fought it like the devil but I'm the end I fell for him! I was also scared to be in another realationship because I just knew it wouldn't last. Well he proved me wrong!!' So tomorrow I have to get another spinal tap to see what my opening pressure is..... Not looking forward to that since I always get a week long migraine from the spinal tap, uggghhhh!!!!!

I left him in 2005, had a few boyfriends before I decided I was done with men in 2006! I met him in Aug. of 2007 but we were just friends. He was literally my best friend and we were inseparable. Then 6 months later I confessed I had other feelings and he did too. We started dating in feb 2008. I moved an hr. away from him and he couldn't stay away so he moved in with me in oct. that year. He proposed Christmas Day and we got married may 2009! We don't really fight and he calls me his queen.,, he worships the ground I walk on, Lol ! I love him soo much and he is still my best friend !
