It's not "easy" but as long as you eat responsibly and follow your doctor's advice you cannot gain the weight back. -

As long as you do what your supposed to do you won't gain it back. It's science. But you will find there are ways to eat and drink things you should stay away from. Honestly, there is no way to gain back the weight unless you do not follow through. -

I know several people who had the surgery around the same time as myself and have kept off most of their initial weight loss. Some have been more successful than others. After 10 years, many successful weight loss stories don't come back to the forum boards. You usually have had the people who weren't successful and are unhappy with themselves. My sister is having the surgery on 2/25 and I am her biggest cheerleader. She told me how some people are discouraged by people talking about their weight gain on this forum. I can honestly say it's one of the biggest and best decisions I have made in life. -

I wouldn't say it's easy because you have still have to be conscious of my what you put in your mouth. If you graze all day you can consume more calories than you need. Also, I have to watch what liquids I drink. Some liquids consist of more calories. I have the tool of the RNY but it's still up to me to use it correctly. -

I had lost 125 pounds and have gained back about 30. But still feel great! I heard the stories too before I had the surgery but really it's the best thing I could have done for me as well as my family. I still weigh myself constantly. I still cannot eat alot but I'm happy about that. -
