  1. Awww. Thank you so much!
  2. For exercising I run four to five times a week totaling 2.5-2.8 miles/day. I never eat desserts. I limit carbs and eat protein in every meal. If I'm craving something, I eat Greek yogurt with granola or I have special K cracker chips. I do bring high protein bars to work to have that extra, while I'm away from home. ( always have protein bars in your purse, its vital ). I haven't had any pasta since before my pre op diet and no bread. My calories throughout the day adds to 750 - 850 daily. I eat, but still small portions. I never overeat. I can't ever finish my plate. Always know when that extra bite will be too much. I still struggle with water throughout the day. I average about 48 ounces a day. Still need to work on that. Hope this helps Sleeve Siren.
  3. You will be there before you know it. Keep up the great work. )

    Gall Bladder

Ughhh, I just had my stitches removed yesterday. I'm 6 months rny post op and had extreme pain in my right side going to my back. I had emergency surgery for gallbladder removal, but when I woke up the surgeon says, you also had an obstructed bowel. Ughh, it was extremely painful. I had to take pain meds around the clock for 6 days. Good luck and prayers for a quick recovery. Rest !

    Gallbladder Six Months Out!

Update:: I went to the ER over the weekend in a lot of pain. My gallbladder had to be removed and in surgery they discovered a bowel obstruction. No wonder why I was in a lot of pain. Ugh... Very sore, but resting
  13. I'm six months out from having RNY. I've been doing well. Lost a total of 97 lbs and also running 2.6 miles 5x a week. All of a sudden I've been getting sharp constant pains in my upper mid area (pit of my stomach.) Always after I eat and usually much worse during the night (after dinner time)! It would radiate to my right and go towards the back. Doctors say either ulcer or gallbladder. :'( Well yesterday the ultrasound tech said they see what the problem was. Sludge and small stones in the gallbladder. They say they will send the report to my surgeons office. Ugh, really?
  14. Awesome job. You look great DeeJack08. Good for you!
