    Fabulous February Post-Op's

One year out and happy, happy, happy

    Fabulous February Post-Op's

    1. Exercise is key 2. Always remember that you were awesome before surgery- sometimes I let others make me feel like I'm awesome now but must have been pretty gross before...just understand you are still you- just in a smaller package 3. Watch out for the carb creep...I can tolerate way more carbs now than I could right out of surgery and I have to be careful

    Fabulous February Post-Op's

My goal was to lose 85 and I am down 64...So I guess I am about 3/4 of the way there...but it has really slowed down.

NSV- came home from an out of town trip weighing less than when I left:)
  5. I got on the scale when I got home (3 days post) and had gained 8 pounds...totally normal from all the fluid...give it a week:)

I have been warned that taking the 4 tsp of children's Tylenol can make you dump due to the sugar content

    Dinner

Glad you talked to your nutritionist. If she said notion worry, then I wouldn't worry:). Put the scale away and just focus in her guidance...I had gained 8 pounds the day I got home from the hospital from all the fluids and about had a heart attack...if you lost 17 that first week then you did awesome.

    Dinner

My total meal is 1/4 cup until 3 months out

    Dinner

The surgery is just a tool...you have to make the choices...I am two weeks out and I can not have meatloaf until week 6...I am also limited to 1/4 cup of food...High protein and low sugar/carb. Your meal looks a bit large- maybe try cutting down your portions and eat more protein and less carbs.

    Oatmeal amount

I am on a 1/4 cup serving size until 3 mo post op..so you are probably about right with the amount you are eating.
