I made meatloaf and mashed potatoes with onions, green pepper and gravy. I had a little bit filled up fast. I have days when I cook for my family and I guess my pouch shrinks or something because when I'm finally ready to eat, it seems 2-3 spoons and I'm full. Weird but true.

For some reason chicken is heavy in my pouch and some days I get sick from it so I don't bother to much with it Since surgery seafood has been my friend. I love tilapia, snow crabs, sometimes shrimp...seems to sit well thank goodness lol

You can also try sea food, snow crabs (my favorite) shrimp, salmon, tilapia, when I have meats I make sure I make it to it's falling from the bone soft so my pouch can tolerate it...our taste buds do change after awhile it will get better....before surgery I loved milk, after I'm lactose intolerant...certain things I can have certain things I can't. I remember when I first had surgery and the pain I felt I was regretting everything and couldn't believe I did this and to myself...lol when I finally went home, I cried all the time. Making dinner for my family was hard because I was unable to eat, my hormones were everywhere but you know what it all passed. It is normal to feel this way, your hormones will get the best of you, but in the end and in a few weeks you will feel so much better....congrats on taking your life back. Take it day by day and good luck to you:)

Hey Amanda:) It's a list of appointments and the doctors they need you to see, if the appointment that needs a referral, they will give u the forms too. I still have my folder of papers...inbox me sis I'll give u my number so we can talk
