I think most if not all felt the same way as you, I know I did. When you wake up from that surgery you are no longer the same person. You go from a football size stomach to a golf ball size stomach or smaller..emotions and hormones are all of the place. The pain is moderate to bad and then reality hits you like a ton of bricks...questions like why did I do this, should I have done this, was I ready to do this comes to your mind....those are all normal questions. The best thing to do is get your mind inclined with your journey now, get a support group, and come on here to get the support you need. I remember coming out of surgery and I felt like a Mac truck hit me head on and couldn't understand why did I do this to myself....6 months down and 104lbs gone I realize why....take it day by day like someone told me when I first posted...it will get better...good luck and congrats to your new life change! -

I have 3 kids, my youngest is 3 they let all of the kids visit but of course my 3 year old wasn't able to be in the room (although they snuck him in..for a few minutes to let me know they were there, and I just walked over to the visiting room:) and finished my visit. (also when I went to my surgery, I didn't bring my cpap, and now I no longer use it congrats to you guys and wishing you all the best!! -

Congrtats to you and good luck Every doctor is different with meal/liquid plans... I used Isopure creamy vanilla it was good to me before surgery, after I hated it... and high^5 on the greek yogurt I hate it too....its too thick, and its nasty YUCK lol I always hear everyone say how delish it is, and I'm like are we eating the same thing??? lol guess its an acquired taste...for me its a no go...
