@ Tasha how sweet it is that you put this together. I have been blessed to have 2 really cool women as pen pals and happy to say friends now in my life. This pen pal thing we have going is great, especially when people get the concept of pen pal (getting to know the other person) I swear if either of my pen pals reach New York, we will be painting the town red lol :-) My first pen pal was great and i still speak to her she has become my sis Max and my 3rd has become my sis as well...Sebrina Thank u so much for my box I loved everything, you rock! What I am grateful for most of all is the emails, our laughs, our lil inside jokes, you are an amazing person...and believe me you and my first pen pal are stuck with me now Thank you for being a friend... ^ um ok weird but as I said that last line, I was singing the theme song from Golden Girls...lol xoxoxoxoxox thanks Veronica P.S. its not about what you get in the box, its the friendships that are built!

Have u spoken to your doctor, are you taking your vitamins, and if your unable to eat maybe the dr can check to see if you have a stricture....this surgery is not to make u feel miserable but to help with weight loss...also besides online do they have support groups in ur area? Would like to talk to u more...I'll send u a email

Did you do the surgery, how u feeling?

I had about 3-4...the first time I had a slight sore throat but no pain and this made my journey so much easier....then had to do soft foods again ...jello, yogurt etc. Wishing u the best of luck and feel better

Congrats this is just the beginning

So excited my August pen pal responded....I so love this pen pal it really works if people apply to it, you meet people around the world going thru the same things you are going thru so it's cool to embrace one another....

My first pen pal was great in fact 2 months later we are still in touch, we talked back and forth for a week or so getting to know one another and learning about one another before we sent anything out...we talked about family, our journeys what we like, personal things and life in general My 1st pen pal was heaven sent for some people they forget the concept of what a pen pal is.. .July my pen pal was hurt so we were not able to make exchanges, so that's understandable. I reached out to my August pen pal but no response yet. This is a beautiful thing for us to do, but if people do not participate it makes no sense in being pen pals....and I'm sorry I don't want someone's address on the first email, the point is getting to know your pen pal see what each other like and make friends with someone on the other side of the world, going through the same thing you are. If people don't agree with the concept just say no to this when Tasha sends out the monthly email that simple...

Trust me once surgery is done, you will look at food differently. Sometimes I forget to eat, but I know I have to,. For now although is a stressful time, know your triggers and start getting use to dealing with stress in a different way now...because after surgery no matter what stress your under you won't be able to stress snack... Good luck and if your ever need to talk and release stress I'm just a note away:)

I think after losing and I'm steady a lift will be necessary for me too...
