    I decided to do the RNY because I have close people that i know that have done this procedure and because my doctor recommended this surgery for me. Also I've done a lot of research on it and therefore I decided that this one will be the neat for me. My surgery date is Feb 4. Yayyyy can't wait so excited yet nervous.     Today is my 3rd day in the pre-op diet and I'm feeling great, already feel my pants being loose and this is only the beginning , I made the mistake of not weighting myself before I started the pre-op diet but its okay cause I'm feeling the progress. I feel nervous only 3 more days before surgery. I want to thank all of you guys here because thanks to you I've read many things that will help me after surgery. Good luck to all. ????

    Have mixed feelings. So excited yet nervous anybody can share any experiences good or bad with the gastric bypass. I'm only 4 days away from my surgery.

    Ill ask her because in my job they are okay if I take from 2-4 weeks off however I work in an office and its mostly sitting down so that's my main concern. But if the doctor tells me to take about 4 weeks off I will do it to make sure that when I get back to work ill be in a better shape.

    I heard about this app when I went to my pre-op class Monday and glad I did. So far I've found a lot of info that will help me thru my journey and I know this will not be an easy path but with the help of family and friends and of course you guys on this app I will be fine. Thanks for the good wishes and I hope your journey gets better as well. I have one more concern. How long before I can go back to work approximately??

    Thanks Veronica I will follow all the advice they give me and all the diet because I've decided to take this step which is a serious and it's the best choice I've made. God willing everything will come out ok and if I ever have any doubts or concerns I will definitely contact you. Thanks for the support.

    My doctor is Dr. Choi also and I'm so excited today is my 2nd day in the prop diet and so far it's not that bad the only thing is that I didn't weight myself when I started yesterday so if I do loose pounds before Monday I don't know how much it will be. Im excited yet nervous.
