Only hours away before my surgery and I literally have no words to explain my feelings. Im blessed to have a chance to change my life 100% and I know it won't be an easy road but I know that in life everything that's worth don't come on a silver platter. Good luck to everybody that's having surgery today as well, u will be in my prayers and I will keep you guys posted after surgery. Love u all. Feb 4th rocks.

Can somebody stay overnight with you when you get surgery.??

Thxs. I'm already on the recovery room since 4pm, everything went well thanks God and thank to the wonderful Dr I had. It's not that bad yet just feeling bolted and a little pain, hope it don't get that painful.

I have no words to explain the feeling, it's joy anxiety, overwhelmed feel so happy cause finally the day it's almost here. A new beginning, a new life, a new challenge I know it won't be easy but strong woman and ill be ok. If anybody have any tips on what to do the first couple of days ill appreciate that. Thanks so much.

Thanks so much. I hope I have a speedy recovery as well mostly cause of my 2 year old daughter who's supper attached to me and loves to be on top of me all time. That's my main concern how to keep her off me but thanks God ill have the help of my mom who will be there to carry her all the time till I get better.i just hope that will be enough cause I don't want my daughter to feel rejected.

Tell them straight up that you need an answer now, that you need them to be there for you that this is a life changing surgery for you and that they are your family therefore they are the one that are supposed to count with.

Hi, how did those Isopure drinks tasted?? Are they better than shakes??

I will say that I was lucky on that subject, my mother took off a week starting tomorrow to take care of my daughter while I'm at the hospital and I will stay in her house for the first two week. I could say that I'm blessed because I've had all the support that I need from my family,friends and even my boss told me to take as long as I need. Hopefully for you guys it will work as well. U will be able to find somebody that will help you with your kids.

You will get better drink a lot of orange juice and cinnamon and apple tea and you will be ok. Good luck and god willing you will have your surgery Wednesday.

How exciting, good luck to you everything will be for god willing. I still can't believe that I'm just a day away from my surgery. The hospital called me yesterday to confirm the surgery time and as I'm speaking to the nurse I had to pinch myself to believe that this is so real. This change that will come to my life I know it's a lot of work and dedication but I'm ready for it. Surgery date Monday Feb4, 2013 that will be a date that I will never forget. good luck to you again. And hope to stay in touch, this forum have really helped me a lot and have answer many of my questions. Thanks to all of you guys for sharing your experiences with all of us here.
