April 2013 Post-Op Group

This is my biggest fear for post surgery! I have plans for how I will get in my Protein and things that I will eat, like cottage cheese. What if after surgery, I hate the taste of everything I like now! -

My doctor said that Flintstones complete are ok for now. I take 2 of them a day. He will prescribe more 3 weeks after surgery when I can take them. -

Lucky you! I have two weeks yet, but it is going fast!

Glad you are finally getting to feel better! Sleep will do wonders! Congrats on the smoking. I quit two months ago and don't even miss it!

Sounds good to me. My nurse said they have gowns and robes so I'm not taking any clothes, except clean underwear of course!

So glad for you jeannette! Seems like our group is doing well so far. Sounds like the pain is manageable for everyone so far. Glad you are at home where you can be comfortable! Good luck on the protein and please keep us posted.

I only got three from my Dr. But they knew I ordered so many on my own, so they probably thought I didn't need them!

You just don't get a break! The hernia can be fixed during surgery, I have one and my surgeon says that they usually go away when they tug on the stomach during surgery. The module on the lung sounds scary, but the low risk of cancer is good news. Hope the tests go good on wed and that your surgery will be on time. Sucks to have the thought of a delay, but hang in there and be tough! Thinking of you! Keep s posted!
