  1. Was up ALL night! The pain is gone, I'm guessing it was gas from what I read. Took gas x like crazy, and its better. Gonna stick to liquids today, cuz I threw up everything I ate yesterday. How are you?? Is your pain still there?
  2. Great thread! I won't miss being the biggest person in the office and in my family. Sweating ALL the time, even in winter! Rude comments by co workers, who then say, "i didn't mean it like that." (Almost punched someone for this). Being uncomfortable in clothes that really don't flatter me. Did I say sweating ALL the time??
  3. We need to feed our bodies, otherwise it thinks we are starving and will hold onto everything. This is one reason it is important to not skip meals, and to eat three meals a day.

    What ya eating tonight?

I looked it up and it looks good! Will definately be trying it. It is Arctic Zero.
  5. That is exactly how mine is! I'm wondering if it is acid reflux! I didn't think this was possible post op, but apparently it is according to what I've read. I just took some omeprozole to see if that helps and will call the Dr in the am. Keep me posted!
  6. Me too! What is it?? Tried some supper, and that came up too. A little worried. Took some gas x but no change. Guess I'll be calling the Dr tomorrow.
  7. Kellbell5, how are you feeling today?
  8. Not a good day. Have been super dizzy, and nauseous. Ate some cheese about an hour ago, and threw up. Also tried some protein drink, and that came up as well. Having a hard time focusing with the dizziness. Guess its back to bed for me for now. Will not hit protein or water for sure! Wasn't I just saying how good I've been feeling??? I have to learn to keep quiet.
  9. Yay for the 18's, boo for the nausea!
  10. Congrats! It's weird that we lose inches, but not pounds. How does that even work???
  11. I dieted the whole six months prior to surgery and lost 40 lbs. My nut gave me a goal each month, such as cutting out soda, fried foods, alcohol, sweets, etc. When you stop each of them slowly, it is easier to keep avoiding them in the long run. I quit most things in the first month, cuz I was so excited to lose weight. Since this surgery is a lifestyle change, it is good to get a head start on this before surgery. Good luck!
  12. You look great. You are gorgeous too!

    Is it too late?

I didn't have a pre op diet, so don't worry. Some Drs don't require them.

    insomnia

Insomnia happens to me every few nights or so. If I don't fall asleep before my husband, forget it! I'll be up all night listening to him snore and spit and sputter! I even thought about sleeping in the spare room, but he said I better not start that! Some nights I sit up and read the whole night and then go to bed when he gets up for work. Then the whole day is thrown off , and then the night as well. Trazadone makes my legs jump, and I'm so used to my vicodin, for back pain, that it doesn't make me tired like it used too.

    Feeling Icky

I'm almost 5 weeks and have felt good. Hope I don't get this little slump that it seems everyone is having. I have my routine set with shakes, meals, and vitamins/meds. I feel like I'm actually in control and used to it now. Sorry for those that feel icky! I probably just totally jinxed myself now! LOL

    What ya eating tonight?

What's wrong with 900 calories? We all have head hunger days, so don't stress! Tomorrow is a new day! We can do this!
