Sorry you're feeling down my dear but know that you're not alone! Its not the season for me, I love autum , but all that hass happened lately. I hqve been out of work since February and am broke and in debt too. I hope things look up for you soon and you get out of the rut you're in. Many hugs! ♥

Thanks and so do I! Its nice to have someone here who has been through this too! I dont even start any therapy until 6 weeks out but I plan to do whatever I have to to make this a successful surgery. I am sooooo tired of dealing with back and leg pain and im sure those around me are tired of hearing about it too.

Thanks. It is bad this am again. Didnt sleep well cuz I usually sleep on my right side and thats the side that hurts. So I tried to go more on my back but thats not comfortable with 50 staples either! Oh well it wont be forever! I'll be the first one on the phone with dr office at 8am. Thanks for the support and love. Not alot of that going arou d on this site anymore!♥

Nice to see some conversation on here! Woohoo, they're more of our April group! I am healing slowly. Had spent more time in hospital than I thought with the low blood pressure. Now this weekend it is some horrible right leg pain. Can be up for about 10 minutes before the leg throbs and aches so bad I need to lie down. My lower leg and foot go numb too. I will be calling the dr in the am just to see. I have my pain meds figured out and regulated. I guess I just take it day by day! Love ya all!

They gave one to me in the hospital! Lifesaver for sure!

I can do that no problem, except wiping. The hardest for me is getting out of bed. Laying down goes alot easier but getting up takes alot out of me!

Im doing ok after spine surgery. Have alot of pain at times but nothing out of the ordinary. I miss chatting with everyone here too. Seems like people are staying away from this site due to issues. It has worked for me lately just fine though. All of the water weight is slowly dropping day by day. Sucks having to lose it all over again. Hope you are all doing well. ♥

Feeling good this am. Woke up in a huge sweat so I know my fever had broken. Thats a relief. Just got up to bathroom with minimal assist from hubby. Today is wotking on getting up and down from bed and stairs(I have 4 to get into house) with pt and basic hygiene with some assistive tools with ot. Hopefully home either tonight or tomorrow. Will see what dr say and what bloodwork shows!

I can now see the last pages on my phone! Yay! Recovery was harder than I thought it would be from Mondays surgery. Still in the hospital. My bp dropped so low post op that they couldnt give me anything for pain for awhile. So yesterday we played catch up. I am now better with the pain which is great, but have now developed a fever of 101. ugh I just want to go home all ready.

Hi! I had my surgery on April 22 of this year. I started at 340, was 302 on surgery day, and am at 217 today! I live in Beaver Dam which is a little bit from you but not too far! I am actually having spine surgery today (UGH) so I will be MIA for awhile on here I'm guessing. My back problems are the reason that I had the RNY in the first place. I had visited many spine surgeons and a pain management doctor who all said I needed surgery for the pain to stop due to a slipped spine. No one would touch me due to my weight. My pain management doctor suggested looking into the RNY and 6 months later I had it done. It was the BEST decision ever. Wish I would've done it years and years ago! Tomorrow is back surgery day for me. This is what I've been waiting for and the reason I had RNY to begin with. Please say a little prayer for me that the surgery is a big success! Thanks April peeps. Youre the best!
