Love cranberries but raw?? Aren't they very tart?

Homemade cranberry applesauce?? Yummy! Send some to WI! There is a huge cranberry festival here in Warrens WI. We were going to my sisters 4 hrs away and passed there. The line for the exit was MILES long. A huge festivel!

I hear ya. I even wore my hubby's big fleece sweatshirt to bed last night! We are getting snow today which makes me very happy! Snow and the Packers on the same day! Whoop whoop!

The UW is a great hospital with great doctors. I had a surgeon from their neurosurgery department for my spine surgery. I hope they can help. No one knows better than me what it's like to deal with chronic pain and to search for someone to help with it! I pray you will be successful there! I am still having the same leg pain. The Dr checked in with me on Tuesday and just refilled my pain medication. They said they would check in next week again. It is VERY frustrating to say the least. I did have a good day on Friday and was able to go to walmart with my son. Had hardly any pain while out. Later that night it came back full force. I thought it had become unpinched but no dice. Just taking it day by day!

My 21 year old daughter bought herself a new outfit for a bachelorette party the other day. I thought it was cute so tried it on for the heck of it. It fit!!! Size 14 jeans, and a cute little short brown leather like jacket. When she came downstairs she couldn't believe it. Both of my girls said I looked great!

I thought having my gallbladder out was a piece of cake compared to RNY. I had hardly any pain and was back to normal very quickly. Hope you all are feeling better soon !

At the job i had, I was the only bigger person there that worked at the reception desk. I would turn the heat down and the other 3 girls would turn it up. I would be sweating and they would have sweaters on. If I still worked there we would at least all be on the same page!

Only -16 here in WI with the wind chill! -32 sounds awful! I'm glad my overheating is done with. I can't get warm enough. Hang in there!

My hubby stayed the entire time I was there. I loved having him there to help and he was absolutely wonderful!

Glad you are going back to the psychiatrist and that you have had some break throughs. It is hard when we KNOW we shouldn't do something but just can't stop from doing it. Keep working on it; you will find a place where you can enjoy life again. My condolences on the loss of a great leader. Thinking of you my friend!

It will likely be similar to how you felt with your other surgery. Most people tend to have the same or similar reactions as to their prior surgeries. Relax! You won't remember much about this time anyway! Best wishes!

December 1st already! Where did the time go? We are entering our 8th month post op! I am stalled between 217-220 lbs. Want to get to at least 170 but not sure that will happen. Am fairly immobile for now after spine surgery and mysterious leg pain that followed! Absolutely can not wait to be able to start some exercise. I've lost 123 lbs so far with basically no exercise due to my bad back. I can only wonder where I'd be if I was able to even go for a good walk!?!? I may have already reached goal. Oh well, it is what it is. Glad everyone is doing well and enjoying life! Truly a great outcome I must say! ♥

Started this journey in august of 2012 at 340lbs. Surgery date was 4-22-13 at a weight of 303lbs. Currently 12-1-13 at weight of 217lbs. That is 123 lbs down! Want to lose about 50 more!
