Hello I am almost 30 and I had my surgery in 2010 with generally no complaints. I had was 300 then went down to 150. Dating my very nice boyfriend who lives to cook for me has slowly crept me back up to 175. I have been counting calories with an app called Lose it! I'm sick of dieting and ready to give up. I think I need a friend in this

Significant other weight loss
brokenfrailty posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I spent many years where I weighed twice the amount of my ex and I just barely reached a goal to be smaller than him when we split. I have been dating my current man for 2 years and noticed he has lost a bunch of weight and it made me feel guilty for not trying harder. Anyone know where I'm coming from? -
Significant other weight loss

My starting weight was 300 my smallest was 149. He never saw me any bigger than my current weight of 175. We met at my smallest weight and he claims I'm beautiful at any weight but I feel that's just what he should say. -
Does anyone become weight loss obsessed?

I am 2.5 years post op and I find myself getting obsessed to lose weight to the point that I barely eat. I actually convince myself that food is repulsive and I'm not hungry. Just curios how common that is -
I may live far away but if you ever need a mentor or just to talk I'm here. I'm 2.5 years post op

I got my exercise in today. How about you guys? -
My name is Heather and I am 29 years old. I am 3 years post surgery and I'm still a work in progress... Starting weight was almost 300 lowest was 149. Currently I weigh 162.3 I'm struggling because my boyfriend loves the happy non dieting me so he cooks. Size is no matter to him but I'm trying to work on it so as not to undo all of my hard work.I've lost 5.3 pounds this week and hope to keep succeeding. I am working on balancing my weight so I still love life and don't give up on myself

Currently I weigh 163 I'm struggling because my boyfriend loves the happy non dieting me so he cooks. Size is no matter to him but I'm trying to work on it so as not to undo all of my hard work. My new way to balance is to enjoy myself around him while making better choices and sticking to eating a low carb/ fat diet the other days I'm not with him.I've lost five pounds this week and hope to keep succeeding.
