On day 2 of Optifast diet of the pre made drinks, soup and protein bars. Hoping you all could share some recipes using the Optifast products--let's face it...they are kind of hard to get down as is!

I'm on a 2 week Optifast diet. Tried the chocolate shake, Peanut Butter and chocolate Protein bar and tomato Soup. Also allowed sugar free Popsicles and sf jello. Ate a Popsicle and yuck lol. No doubt! I seriously don't remember when I was a size 8 or smaller. I was a 12-14 in high school the the college 15 turned into the partying all the time 30 and then marriage and pregnancy made it impossible to keep up. Starting pre-menopause REALLY does not help matters and then there is the medication which causes weight gain...and don't get me started on gravity!!!! Lol

Alot of that has to do with the insurance company they use. Everyone's circumstances are as different as the company they use. I was so happy mine did not require the wait. -

Personally I would have been fine to work, although I did not. I didn't have any pain, I think they just want you to rest due to the anesthesia.

I'm so sorry Lisa. I hope he comes around and realizes this is about you...but then again, that is probably the major problem. If you are like most women, you put everyone else first all of the time...it's wonderful that you allowed yourself to take this major step to have a better, healthier life. I hope he will understand that you are important too and he is being a big baby. Lol men....ugh!
