I went o the Vitamin Shoppe yesterday and bought about 6 different favors of pre-made shakes they have them in the refrigerator section and you an buy one at a time. Also bought samples from unjury and Syntrax nectar. vS carries the big jug of Nectar but was afraid to commit to anything 5 lbs or over until I actually tasted it. Really hoping I can tolerate since it is a good source of Protein and to break up the beef and chicken monotony! I'm such a picky eater...another reason I'm so nervousness about getting the operation. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk / surgery date March 5, 2013

Same for me except my surgeon really did not give me a choice after he found out how long I have had acid reflux. He said it will make it worse and totally recommended the by pass. Also, the lack of data really got me. Oh and my Mom was freaking out about cutting out an organ, so it was easier to appease her and make the right decision. That's awesome news Roxy! HI to both of my surgery buddies!! Can you believe we are only 3 days away?? Making final arrangements, getting after surgery RX's, making sure there is food in the house for my daughter and thinking about packing today, after I do laundry. Somehow gained 1/2 pound this morning UGH and more UGH. Down about 15 total so far but really thought I would lose more after being so hungry everyday!! Freaking out just a bit, silently like you all, not so much about the operation but afterwards...second guessing my decision but only because I keep thinking about no bread or pizza after the surgery *sadness*. As someone said its like divorcing or breaking up with your best friend! Trying to refocus, but hard since every other commercial on TV is about food!!
