MrsMandolin replied to tsxo821's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
The commercials are the worst!!! I'm Italian and I want Pasta so bad!! Everyday that the scale shows a lower number reminds me that I'm doing the right thing. Looking forward to Zumba!! -

Not really working out, just walking a lot! I get head hunger, where I wanna eat foods that smell good or my favorites from before. My Dr. advanced me quicker, I only had to do liquids for a few days and now I'm just eating really soft foods. -

Oh, My Achin Tailbone
MrsMandolin replied to LovinIt's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I woke up from surgery with horrible lower back/tailbone pain. I mentioned it to the nurses and they didn't say much. It's slowly gotten better but it's still there and very irritating. I never had this pain before surgery. Anyone have a reason why? lol -
January 2013 Post Op
MrsMandolin replied to ready2smile's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
My surgery was Jan 16. I had my staples out while I was in the hospital. The only downside is that my skin reacts to adhesives, so All the bandages and tapes have left red itchy welts. My incisions don't bother me at all. I have been walking since the day of surgery. Yesterday I actually jumped on the elliptical. I only lasted about five minutes at a slow pace but then I just walked it off on the treadmill. I'm at about a mile of walking at a time. -
Weight loss worries
MrsMandolin replied to SammiSiren's topic in Tell Your Weight Loss Surgery Story
Everyone is different. I am a week post op and I've lost 15lbs. Also, not every week is going to be the same. Can you imagine if you lost ~20lbs every week? Congratulations on your surgery and yay!! for your 28lb loss! -
Hi all. First post here. I just had my surgery on Jan 16th. I have PCOS (was diagnosed at 14) and only have had 2 periods over the course of 4 years. One was after losing 25 lbs on a fad diet. I'm only a week out now, but was curious if other women with PCOS saw their periods return and how far out from surgery did they return? Looking forward to having cycles (sounds weird, I know) and then being able to have babies! :-)

Congratulations on your surgery. Mine was on the 16th as well and it feels good to be a week post op. I have my good and bad days but I don't regret it. I'm down 15 lbs! Looking forward to getting to know you! It's cool to have others with the same surgery date! Best of luck. -
I'm really hopeful that they return. Glad to hear others have seen them come back, even if they are bad or irregular. I'm not having any at all right now so I'll take what I can get

Me! I had my surgery Jan 16th. Nothing yet, but I am only a week post op. Hoping for some changes!

Oh wow. I hope surgery helps. That sounds awful :-(
-
Oh no! How long since your surgery and how long have you been bleeding?

Thanks Kimmy! Sorry for the typos! I cant* drink anything cold. And I meant exercise routines! Yay auto correct :-)
