    Pain in the diaphragm area

The reason I had RNY was due to this same sounding pain. My doc told me it was esophageal spasms and gerd related; that this surgery would help. I had my surgery in Feb and I still have the pains! They doc prescribed me nitro to take as needed/when I have the "attack" and it helps immediately. I hope you get it figured out. Good luck.

  5. I wake up most every night with charley horses in my calfs and/or feet. I've never had this problem before and hurts like hell! Any insight would be appreciated. I'm almost 8 months out.

Today I was prescribed a full cycle of prednisone starting tomorrow. The doctor was not my regular physician and just want to make sure it's okay to take with the bypass. Thoughts or insight? I'm 6 months out....
