Hi Juliz 1972! I am all ready for my surgery! Date is this Friday and kinda nervous. Worried about my passion for food. I bought tons of the Atkins sweets and living off them . Following my strict low carb diet. Constipated as heck! Ouch! Down 11 pounds with two weeks to go. Anticipating this surgery and praying for the best. I read some of the post op issues people have, and my fingers are crossed. -

From Minnesota. 41, getting surgery due to gerd. I keep hearing "you don't need surgery"! I am excited and never thought I would be skinny. I only have to do low carb diet for 4 weeks/1week down and pre op next week. -

Thank you! Excited, scared, nervous... All the feelings I'm sure you've heard! this surgery is required due to chronic gerd. I have only had 1 month notice to be prepared. -

My surgery is set for feb 22. Kinda nervous and have googled all I can! Start my low carb on Friday and have been eating all of my favorite foods. . I have been searching support groups and this site looks wonderful!!!
