I'm 13 days post op

I'm taking regular Tylenol 2 of them they've gone down fine

Katy 77 I thank god haven't had and trouble with fluids and I've been on soft food for 3 days and everything is going good there no nausea or anything that would be the most horrible felling I know it just drains all your energy cause you can't keep anything down my dr only has me taking iron of my Vitiamines till I guess I see him next wed but I know what you mean I'm just really tired and feel very weak I hope the y can give you something for nausea so you can keep food and liquids down so you can fell better my stomach is still very tender but the Loritab makes me so sleepy and very drogy so I'm just taking Tylenol it doesn't make me feel so bad and my arm is killing me they had to put a pick line in and where they took it out really hurts to even touch my arm I hope everything goes well for your dad have they decided anything yet for him just tell your mom to try not to worry to much where she doesn't get sick it's so hard with everything going on and make sure she gets plenty of rest How's things going with work for your husband it's been so much going on he problem hasn't had time to look at anything. Just keep praying and remember we will see the light in the end of all this and it will be good and better health and we won't think about all our struggles when we get there

Katy 77 the naurse said it was good to cry to just let it all out its so hard when we've did this for better health and things just keep going wrong but we just have to keep hanging in there so we will see the light at the end last night when I came home and went up to go to bed I got on my scale and I'm ip 3 lbs more then when I went in for surgery I guess I just need to trust my dr cause he told me not to worry what the scale said right know cause they been pumping me so full of fluids in the hospital I go see him next wed so will see then just keep praying and god will see us through this. I'm walking 4-5 times a day dr wants short walks to not raise heart rate to much and there getting me the leg pump to use at night to help circulation in legs

Ok I'm finally home again out of hospital I'm just so tired all these meds So I got to advance to soft foods and its going ok hopefully everything is going to be good know I had very bad stomach pain and went back to hospital to find out I had fluid and bleeding but couldn't see where the bleeding was coming from so second test didnt show any active bleeding but my blood count was really drooping so they had to give me 5 pints of blood

Yes I've been passing a lot of gas and very louse poop 3-4 times a day but still in hospital and only liquids strained cream soup sf pudding jello Popsicles and my protein and getting IV fluids

Well on good note my test didn't show any active bleeding t time of test but still don't know where the blood in my stomach came from so they have given me 5 different bags of blood at least my dr comes in 2 times a day to check on. Me and my cardiac dr to but no ideA when I can go home and there still keeping me in ICU my dr said he wants to be very careful so I don't get any blood clots cause they had to stop my Coumadin and Levinix cause not sure why and where the bleeding came from

No this was my only wLS and I had Gasiatric bypass there going to do bleeding test after they finish giving my blood

I'm still bleeding not sure where its coming from and there giving me blood

Well I'm back in the hospital my stomach started hurting really bad last night I thought it was gas but my stomach hurt. To touch it took my liquid. Loritab but it didn't help when I woke up this morning it hurt to walk or touch my stomach so rhe did another leak test. It was ok but they said I had fluid and blood in my stomach and my blood count was low so there watching my blood count to see if they have. To give me blood. This is getting sceary it just hurts to move

Also you can get Unjury cheese and put on refried beans to add more protein. Refried beans are just beans that have been boiled and the mashed up try black beans and Pinto beans are also very good

Try nectar it light so it doesn't fill you up and Unjury chicken soup I make cream of chicken soup and add Unjury chicken to it also add unflavored Unjury to pudding and yogurt

They gave me potassium & meganisum in the iv along with cardiac drip to try to regulate my heart then a couple of doses potassium pills till my blood work was ok then doubled my Coreg mouth before I went home

To everyone just remember we're all in this together and here for each other and let our bodies to heal and just keep praying cause we just need time for this to happen

Well I'm 6 days post op I have been lucky to not have much pain or nausea and food is going well I just can't do to much because I went into afib my heart is beating very elregular and my heart rate goes up with a little walking so I just walk till I start feeling it getting to fast so only a little at a time my cardiac dr says he will give it 6 weeks to go back to normal pattern before he does anything cause he said all the stress from surgery and weight to drop some Its crazy shortly after surgery about 6 nurses came rushing in my room and wanted to know if I was ok cause my heart rate dropped to 30 but I felt fine I told them after surgery before my heart rate dropped to 40s so that calmed down and got back to my normal Rate mid 50. So day after surgery everything is going good did 3 Walks got in bed to take a nap and that's when my heart started skipping and my heart rate was about 187 they finally got it settled in about 3 days of IV heart drips but still not beating normal but I feel ok just very aware cause I can fell the way it's beating I told my cardiac dr what did I do to myself cause I was feeling I did this to myself cause of the surgery and his words to me was this was one of the best things I had did for myself and not to worry cause the echocardiogram showed my heart had no damage to it at all from the problems I had had in 2000 blood clots in main artery and mild heart attach they put in 2 stents then

Finally I got to go home from the hospital my heart rate is ok but my heart beat is still not regular my cardiac dr said he would give it 6 weeks to get back to a regular beat if not they would give me a shock treatment to get it back regular they call this afib he said its caused from stress body not being unbalanced and I had low magnesium and potassium and my electrolytes were unbalanced so just have to wait and see. But my surgery went very well so just waiting for this weight to go down
