The Levonix shots are to prevent blood clots they use them as a bridge to come off Coumadin before surgery so you dont bleed to much till your INR level gets thicker and after surgery. All drs are different on this and how long you use it its also different when your on blood thinners -
You have really changed your life for the better and possibly saved your girls life and your sons to not see and follow in his footsteps Good luck

My nut says only try one new thing at at a Time I've eaten an regular but some people can't it's weird everyday you change just try something else like tuna with a little lite mayo or some soft fish some people eat Vienna sausage I also had luck with chicken grilled very tender are if you can't just stay with soups a few days and then try again but just one new food at a time. Have you talked to your nut about this they might be able to help to I ended up having to get meds for my stomach because I got sick and then my stomach was very queazy and it helped -

Are you able to keep fluids down? My stomach is very picky I eat Greek yogurt usually plain with some like cookies & cream protein mixed in it and string cheese sometimes an egg it's weird though only fried cooked very soft with cheese melted on top can only eat about half. Have you talked to you dr you could have developed an ulcer -

Well I gave it to my father and he's been gone 22 years I asked the nurse because I argued with her about giving in my thigh she told me the dr didn't allow patients to get them in the stomach after surgery and because of the bruising so I called my nurse at my cardiac dr she handles all Coumadin patients and she said it was ok to give them in the thigh but normally it's given around the belly but in case of stomach surgery they will give in thighs So I asked my cardiac dr and he told me that was fine to give them in outer part of your thighs cause of bruising. I have to do these anytime I have surgery and my stomach stays bruised for months and knotty -

I had always given them in my stomach until I had my surgery my dr wouldn't allow the shots in the stomach after my surgery that's why they gave in thighs in my stomach it always looked like a punching bag black and blue from the shots they don't hurt just sting a little but when I got them in my thighs they didn't bruise
