Wow! You are gorgeous!!
-
I think they just make stuff up so they can deny it and hope you give up the fight.
-
Congrats, Krystal!!!

Oh Man!! :/ Well, at least you got the approval. I had to push my original date back a month for work, so I know how you feel.

Good work!!

I've been doing a 1200 calorie a day diet. High protein, low carb, low fat. I usually have a protein shake for breakfast, salad with protein for lunch, and some steamed veggies and protein for dinner. Non fat Greek yogurt or lunch meat for snacks. Hope this helps!
-
OMG I was so Nervous before mine too, and it was no big deal. I'm sure you're gonna do just fine!
-
So how is everyone doing with their diet? The closer I get to April, the harder it is for me. I keep saying to myself, well, if I want that food one last time, I should have it now 'cause time is running out. I've been able to lose 20 lbs in the last four months from dieting, but I feel burned out and I'm getting sick of trying so hard all the time to restrain myself. I hope this constant struggle gets better after the surgery. Tell me how you're doing!

Welcome! i've learned so much here. So is a one cup diet eating no more than one cup of food per meal?
-
No, I hope to hear back on Tuesday or Wednesday. Congrats on your approval!!

How long from first appointment to surgery?
Wendilou replied to nikipiki13's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I went for my first consult in October 2012 and I'm scheduled for surgery on April 8. That includes a three month supervised diet and exercise program with my PCP. So it took about six months for me. -

Lactose intolerant?
Wendilou replied to Jessica9190's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Sounds like you're lactose intolerant. Seems like yogurt doesn't bother us quite as much as milk does, probably because the bacteria in it breaks down the milk sugars. I use light soy milk with my protein shakes and I love it! -
Detox - oh how the mighty have fallen
Wendilou replied to Lebim's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Thank you for sharing! is there any way you can get switched to a different station at work? I think it would be a struggle for anyone to be around ice cream all the time! You have taken the first step by admitting you have screwed up, now get your butt in gear and get back in the game! We will all have to fight getting back into old habits, and you just have to keep at it. As Joe Dirt once said, "Keep on Keepin on" . You are worth fighting for. -
I feel the same way!! I feel them staring at me and I know they want to come home in my cart! I haven't had any either...before we know it, it will all be gone
-
I dont' see why you wouldn't be able to! You can always call the hospital and ask if it's okay.
-
People say the things to bring to the hospital are: A Pillow to hold your tummy on the way home Chapstick Cell Phone and charger (i'm gonna bring ear buds too) Comfy change of clothes for the ride home--loose waistband. I think the hospital will provide toothbrush, shampoo, soap, towels, etc. I might bring my own toothbrush and toothpaste though. Oh! and my special blanket that I cannot sleep without. Stuff I've put in my cupboards: chicken & beef broth, a variety of Protein shake powders, tons of crystal light and sugar free hawaiian punch drink mixes, no sugar added Applesauce, a bunch of different Soups like cream of mushroom, celery, and chicken.

Ug I'm dreading that catheter! I hope I don't get a UTI.
