I've saved a lot of money since I've stopped eating meat. And I feel a lot healthier too.

So I called the insurance company and they said they have the paperwork but haven't made a decision yet

That's terrific! Can you tell me if you had to wait a long time? My last weigh in appointment was 5/20 and they said they were going to submit then, but so far I haven't received an answer.

I will not miss people telling me that I just need to exercise more, then I won't need surgery. I try to explain that exercising at this weight is almost impossible. So tired of crying by myself from other people's comments. -

I recommend waiting at least the ninety days. I waited a while before telling my employer. I guess it depends on the job. Is this your ideal job? Are you willing to risk it? -

I am in the same situation. I have to push back my surgery to August (I started the pre-op process in November) . If it's a good job, wait. The current job market is awful. -

I know what you mean about smells. Ten years ago I had my gallbladder out and they brought me baked trout for lunch. I'll never forget it. I barfed up everything but my spleen. Let's just say they'll never do that again. LOL

I spent mine at a friend's house having a BBQ. Everyone was eating chicken and ribs that looked and smelled wonderful. But I put tofu on the grill and had a salad. Good times though. -
