I must have terrible luck. I didn't receive a box for June and now my July pen pal stopped emailing me before we could exchange addresses. I tried emailing her a couple of times since but she has never responded

In the past month I have gained 6 pounds. Not sure how as that would mean I ate an extra 21,000 calories. I ate bad like 2 days while we were at a water park.

I've maintained my weight for 5 months. Losing a pound here and there then would gain it back. This month I gained 6 lbs over night pretty much after eating bad for a couple of days. I've been good since eating salads and not too much junk

I thought my surgery was going to be in august but I just found out my surgeon is on vacation the whole month so now my surgery won't be till september. So guess who had bbq yesterday and bob evans today lol

I tried soo hard to be good today. I was good until we drove my taco johns and I was hungry. I got a 6 pack and a pound for my bf and I. He then informs me he isn't hungry. So what do I do? Eat 3 tacos and all the potato oles....in 30 minutes. I mowed for an hour after, so I hope that helps

i know what you mean about control. my friend moved back and we went out to play pool and stopped at mcdonalds...waa. I was doing soooo good lol

I have a days worth of appts today. First up is the psych eval then I go see my pcp for my 5 month weigh in. One more month to go.

I use the high protein slimfast-chocolate. It has 2g of sugar, 20 grams of protein and tastes just like chocolate milk.

What day did you go in for your surgery and what day were you discharged?

they make you fart while their in the room?!?! I can't fart when people I don't know that well are around...now if you put my bf's face close to my arse, I could blow him/them away.

I am in a bit of a pickle. I know I will be having surgery either next month or August. From what I have read, after surgery there is a weight restriction of like 10-20 lbs for several weeks. I haven't told my employer that I am having bypass officially yet. I plan on taking 10 days off work then going back. I found out today, that my employer won't let me return to work on any type of light duty (I'm a cashier). I don't qualify for any type of leave or anything. So I don't know what to do. I can't be off work for that long, but I also don't want to kill myself trying to do things after surgery I shouldn't.

Do you have a recliner you could sleep in?

If I show up with a doc note then I can't come back to work until my weight restrictions are over. I'm thinking maybe I can go back and ask for help lifting heavy stuff..the 40-60 lbs of animal feed. But that might get me in trouble.

Did you have to inject yourself with lovenox shots after surgery?

I am eating my last super unhealthy meal today. I'm 5 weeks from being done with a supervised diet that I half arsed followed. I was doing so well the first 3 months, then my 4th month we were moving and I just kind of went back to my old ways of eating out constantly, and eating easy to cook meals. I am almost to the end of my 5th month and realize that if I want to be successful I need to get back on track. I think the thing that helps the most, is I found a Protein shake I actually like. What was your 'final' junk food meal? I am eating pizza and cheese cake, then tomorrow it is salad and chicken with 2 shakes and some healthy Snacks.

I go for my upper endoscopy today and I am kind of nervous. Eek. How was yours?

they did find that I have GERD, and some type of polyp that they biopsied, and a H? hernia.
