Am I the lucky one? Did I find the only guy on the planet that thinks I am his mother? I am 28 years old, and he is 27. We've been together for a little over 2 years and we have a 11 month old. The plan was never to move in together, or have a child (I was told I couldn't get pregnant, surprise!). We have lived together for about a year. In that time, I went from working FT to PT so I can be there for our son and so we don't have to pay for a babysitter while he works FT. He thinks because he works FT and I don't, he should get out of the luxury of doing anything around the house, unless I ask him-which he usually sighs and goes on like it's in the end of the world. It's like, when do I get a day off though? I work 2 days a week, and the rest of the time I have our son and cleaning up. What really takes my cake though, is he is such a slob! He cooked bacon last night, covered the stove with grease and left it there for me to clean up. He got new shoes, and left the tags and stuff next to the trash can instead of just putting it in there. He puts his dirty clothes in the floor next to the basket instead of in it. The list could go on and on. He does stuff on purpose to get out of helping me. For instance, he worked 11p-7a and then had the rest of the day off. Instead of taking a nap while my son and I were asleep, he waits till were back from the store, and I am trying to clean to go take one-which means I can't clean, and then have to keep our son quiet (we live in a small 1 bedroom duplex). Lastly, he is very unloving. I asked him last night to spend some time with me. I was playing a game and he was too at the time. He said he was tired and going to bed. He said he was tried to spend time with me the other day. (I was in bed asleep, he came home and woke me up, I went back to sleep) I don't know, are all guys like that? Yes he pays the bills, and makes sure that we don't go without, but I could do the same if I wasn't worried about who watches our child, and would still be left with everything to do around the house. I am just so frustrated. There's no talking to him about it, because he thinks he is god's gift to women and he points out everything I don't do......rant over(for now)

My bf didn't get out of bed today till 1 and we have a 17 month old...I know he didn't sleep that long. I told him on the phone you better get shit done before I get home instead of dying on the couch

I had to tell him 6 times to get out of bed and get our child because he is awake.

What shakes do you use? Right now I use the slim fast high protein shakes it has 20 per bottle

So I am just wondering, does my breath stink or something? I signed up for this thing back in April, and had two really good penpals during the months of April and May. June I sent a box to someone who never got back to me. July person crapped out on me. And here it is going on Saturday, and I emailed my penpal and once again has not msged me. So I am REALLY wondering does my breath stink? Is my profile picture not up to your standards? I'm having a really stressed out last couple of days. Between my family not being supportive of my surgery at ALL. Everytime I go over there they feed me crap I don't want or need but can not say no to. My boyfriend acting like he is a child, and can't do ANYTHING for himself (surprised he can go to the bathroom alone or use scissors) My job sucks because I keep getting passed up for a sideways promotion because I"m not bffs with the manager. I work min wage part time even though I have a bachelors degree. I come home to a whirl wind of messes, my boyfriend playing a computer game, and my child who is wet or starving because the said boyfriend can't get off his rump to do anything. I'm stressed. So, honestly....what is it? What is it about ME that people can't commit to doing what they agreed to days prior to do?

It could be something as simple as a paper not being faxed right. Don't get discouraged!!

Has anyone tried those? It's right next to the protein shakes and I've been looking at it. If you have tried it how many pounds did you lose?

I had the same issue. My surgery was going to be in august but my surgeon is on vacation. So I gained 6 pounds in literally two days from the crap I ate...pizza, candy, soda, etc. I started my pre op diet on the first. Did could until yesterday...went to my parents house and they had little box pizzas and made me one. I said I didn't want it but ended up eating it waa.

How soon after your surgery approval did you get a date? I go in the 14th and find out when mine is

I need ideas on what to make. I'm suppose to have the 2 shakes plus one meal preferably a salad plus I can have small Snacks...orange, cheese stick, etc. Any ideas?

I started in Jan. Had to do a 6 month diet. Then a psych eval, ekg, blood work, support group meetings, endoscopy, see a dietician...its been fun. I think they do that to make sure your motivated enough to do this plus the medical reasons

I will be having mine in september. Was suppose to be in august but surgeon is on vacation
