I'm scheduled April 16th yay!!

Omg congrats! My insurance requires a 3 month supervised diet but it ends April 16th, so I did pretty good at being pushy. I was really nice about it though. They said they've never had someone as "motivated" as me lol.

I got my surgery date today!! It is exactly 3 months after I started the program (which most people said couldn't be done). I am sooooo excited. It still feels like forever away, but atleast I have a goal in sight now.

I seriously LOVE the unjury chicken. It tastes like the lipton powdered soup, or kind of like top ramen. YUM :wub: Not a huge fan of the strawberry sorbet. I just ordered a nectar sample pack so I'll let you know what I think.

I see this all the time. I always say, until I am at my healthy BMI, and then I remind them that no matter what I do, someone will have an opinion. I have a friend who has lost all her weight, and I saw someone actually have the nerve to say "you look like a skeleton" on her newest facebook picture. REALLY? She just said something like "well, people complained when i was too big, now they complain when I'm too small. really?" That shut them up really quick. People are always going to have their own opinions.

Why did you refuse to go with them crazy!! Its always best to let them take you in if that's what they think should happen. that way you get your answers asap and can work on fixing it.

Oh no :/ Sorry to hear that. I haven't met anyone who has had the problem. Why aren't you able to keep things down? Is it just too painful, or tastes bad?

So I ordered a sample pack of Chike! Protein powder and it came today. Me and my mom did a taste test, and OMG, freaking YUM. Have any of you tried it? It's a little thick, but it has great taste (a little sweeter than most), and isn't grainy at all.

I hear that too. How does that even work? Why would our taste buds change? Could it just be that since we will feel so full all the time, nothing we eat seems appealing?

do you like it better with water or milk?

I used skim milk.

Hey twins! lol. I'm pre -op, but I've lost exactly 29 lbs since I started my pre-op diet at the beginning of january.

I posted this in a seperate thread, but I just got my chike! sample pack, and I love it. It is super sweet. But the chocolate one tastes like a fudgecicle. the vanilla tastes like cake batter. Its not grainy and I don't taste any gunky chemicals. Its also gluten free. I love it. It's kinda thick though. I wonder how it would freeze. Its kinda fluffy so I wonder if it would freeze like ice cream. haha. one can dream.

did he bake them? What heat for how long?

Is the sf pudding a mix or in a cup?

My husband hasn't had weight loss surgery, but is losing weight, and I've learned that we can't be eachother's "food police" or else we fight. Let each other make your own mistakes and learn from them.

I'm trying to figure out what I'll be eating during my liquid phase. I have been having a really hard time finding Protein drinks that I like. (Any suggestions?). Am I allowed to bled them with frozen fruit, if the fruit is completely blended? What else can I eat during the liquid diet phase?

I'm still pre-op, but I'm talking about when I'm post op.
