Lots of people have that. Apparently most of the maneuvering around through muscles, etc. is on the left side. Mine stopped hurting around week three.

I had surgery 12/27 and I'm still tired. I was told that it might take around six weeks to get back to normal.

I have that pain as well. I was told that the majority of the work is done on that side, so the nerves and muscles are sore. Sometimes it's a sharp pain and other times just a dull ache. It has improved every week, though.

I am in the same boat. Surgery was almost two weeks ago and I've lost 1-1/2 lbs. can't believe I did this to myself.

Hello, all. I've been a lurker for months, just now registering.

I had gastric bypass surgery on Dec. 27. I'm on full liquids now, and I'll start puréed meat on Jan. 2 I haven't lost any weight yet, in fact I show a 3 lb gain, but I'm sure that's still IV fluids and bloating from the hospital. My first dr appt is 4 weeks after the surgery, so I should probably wait and see what the scales say at that time. Looking forward to getting to know everyone! -
This is what 164 lbs gone looks like...

Hi Melynie, I'm okay, just very sore... More than I expected. Luckily, I haven't had any nausea or queasiness. I haven't had any problem with eating or drinking anything. Right now, my stomach is very sore and a lot of it is gas, which is AWFUL. I feel like something is stabbing me in the back and shoulders! I think I will be at a turning point when this goes away.
