We're so close, Dorian, I weighed in at 240 this morning, yay! My ultimate goal is 180, but if I see 199 I'm going to be ecstatic. We're in this battle together, everyone stay strong and remind yourself hourly if you have to, why we started this fight...Keep up the hard work! HW380. SW320. CW240. GW180 Leighanne in WA

There are plenty of drag queen glam wig websites on the web. If I had to buy one, I could be a cotton candy pink or sapphire blue for month! Leighanne

It happens to all of us. So far about 2/3 of mine has fallen out. The good news is I noticed its getting thicker at my scalp. I've lost 74# since my surgery date 4/2/13. I'm near bald, I'm sagging all over and I've never felt better! HW 380 SW 320 CW 246 GW 190 Leighanne

I just had my followup appointment. I'm down 72 lbs from April 2nd. BMI is 37 from 54. I think I'd like to get to 190. Excess skin is scary! Over half of my hair has fallen out....and I feel great! Keep working hard~ Leighanne

I can relate. I think I may be a 42B from a very full 42C. I could care less if I got rid of this saggy belly skin. But I'm mourning the loss of my bodacious Ta Tas!! Leighanne

This is something I've not seen anyone talk about... Is anyone having dizziness issues? A couple of times I've been so dizzy that I think I'm going to pass out or I stumble badly across the room. Leighanne

Isn't it funny how the whole feels it's their responsibility to make unsolicited comments/advice on our weight issues?

Hello all~Its been refreshing to read your stories. Seems we're all tested in different areas of our lives outside of our weight issues. I wanted to check in with my results 3 months post op. I'm down 56 pounds and my BMI is 39 down from 52 when I started this journey last January. I get a bit bugged when I read people have lost 100 pounds in 3 months, but still grateful I weigh less today than I did last week. AND I'm no longer morbidly obese!! As far as the "stall" we all experience, remember the way your clothes are getting loser around you is a better barometer than the actual number on a scale. The scale weighs the whole package, bones, flesh, muscle, fat etc. It doesn't reflect on where you're losing or how great we're looking in our smaller clothes. You all give me incentive to keep on track to beat this obesity nightmare, I thank you for that! The surgery and this website are the best decisions ( in a lifetime of bad decisions) I've ever made! We are strangers but close knit buddies in this forum. I look forward to reading more of your successes. Stay strong! Leighanne in Olympia HW 380 SW 320 CW 264 GW 180

I'm also 10 weeks out, I've lost about 1/3 of mine. I had 4 inches cut off so the curls might bounce up a bit and look fuller. Good news I can always order a fabulous wig from one of those drag queen fashion websites, LOL! He 350, SW 320, CW 269

Girl, I have been stuck on 274 for two weeks now. I don't know how it happens when were only eating appx 700 calories a day. I'm two months post op, I thought I'd thought I would've lost a bit more than 45 pounds. oh well, its not a gain...

Hello all April surgery friends~ I've enjoyed reading your posts. I think I'm past the "pain after I eat" stage. I'm finally tolerating fresh veggies. Chicken is giving me problems still, but shrimp cocktail is my best friend! My highest weight was 380, surgery weight was 320 and I'm at 274 this week. Is it odd to stay at the same weight for 2 weeks? Although I don't want to lose 30 lbs a month, I'd like to lose 5 lbs a week for a while. Another thing ladies, has anyone experienced having no period for a month? I'm starring to get a gobble neck...it makes me cringe a bit, but I'm not complaining. I have more energy and no joint pain. This surgery was the best decision of my life! I can't wait to read more of your successes... Leighannie in Olympia

My surgery date was Apr 2nd

I also had my surgery on April 2nd. I had the staples taken out. I'm down 25lbs already. Its early in my new journey, but I do believe this may be the best decision I've ever made...
