I think we all get in those ruts. After I had my middle daughter (1996) it took me a couple months to get back to class' date=' and then a whole month to get in the 40 hours in I had left. When you wake up tomorrow just put your clothes on and go. Who cares about men. Once you get it done you will feel great! Then you can get licensed and start doing what you love and get paid for it. :'] To be honest, I am just plain lazy and don't enjoy exercising. I have to force myself to take walks or get on the treadmill (which is dumb). Made myself do squats and leg lifts at the kitchen island tonight while the fam watched the CMA's. I just bought my daughter a new bike for her 8th grade graduation, so now I'll have a bicycling buddy too. :] just think of what great gams we'll have! -

Sorry to hear about the sudden deployment and miscarriage. I'm not on here all that much but if you ever need a texting or talking buddy, message me and I'll gladly give you my number. Life alone requires all the support we can get, add into it crazy hormones from surgery, a miscarriage and hb that's inaccessible...well that's just sucks. :[ hugs -

That's great!! Since 1/10/13 I went from busting out of my 18's to wearing 14's in jeans' date=' a med-lrg in shirts and dresses, and am even sliding around in some of my shoes. I'd love to make it to 145 lbs, but I'm not sure if that's possible for me. I haven't seen that weight since grade school. At 185 lbs I was wearing a 12 and looked pretty decent; was at that weight in HS around 20 years ago. My "realistic goal" is 165, I'm 190 now-down from my original HW of 271, however DOS I was 239.9. I keep plugging along slowly... :'] -

I love seeing everyones progress and pictures. You keep me inspired and motivated. I still feel funny taking them myself so I always end up deleting them before I post them here. Still pretty self conscious I guess. It seems like the 4th month is a hard one, especially when you add hair loss on top of it. Ugh :[ Im thankful I keep losing weight most weeks, even if its just .2 lbs. It comes off slow but sometimes I get a nice surprise and see a loss of up to 2.5 a week, just depends. I love the "full" feeling, even though it sometimes annoys me because I want to eat more. Nice having that extra guard in place as a reminder if I pick too big of a serving. I strained my knee so I'm having difficulty exercising-which I hate. I made it worse after a 4 mile hike with my family while camping this weekend. I thought going up hill would be hardest, that was pretty easy-it was staying upright while going downhill that had my knee screaming. Was a great feeling though to be able to take all those hills and keep up with my teenagers! Couldn't have done it last year that's for sure. NSV and we took pics (sweaty betty's) to preserve the memory :] Does anyone else get bored shopping? I used to love it, now it's just like, "ugh, whatever" most times. I do love finding out I went down a size and enjoy being able to shop in whatever store or section I want, it just doesn't hold all the luster right now for some reason. Maybe it's my energy level-I know I could use more Protein but the powder I bought last was nasty, need to see if I can exchange it or just buy a new one. More shopping....fun fun! Lol -
You can all add me, mine's karefulme...just understand if you do, I'm not perfect, lol.

We slip and slide a little but like you all said, we get back up quicker than before. I didn't lose last week-then came home from 4 days in Las Vegas up 3.5lbs. I know some of it was lack of protein and water, plus my body wasn't used to drinking any alcohol or eating the "bad foods" that are very hard to avoid on vacation so it clung to every empty calorie. I also didn't track at all, but comparatively to what damage I did last year-I was very very well behaved in the food and drink department. I hit the water hard, watched/logged my food & protein and am down the gained weight plus another 1.3. Tomorrow is my almost 4 month appt. and although its been slow going, I feel so grateful to be here and look forward to more positive losing! After another 40 something lbs down and I'm getting the girls done and a tummy tuck!!! -
Got my April box from Candy. It was a wonderful surprise to come home to when I returned from my mini-vaca in Las Vegas. Made me excited to try new things (especially the bars and chike mixes), and I really appreciated all the things she included that I mentioned I liked. My box had all kinds of great protein bars, mixes, sugar free candies, homemade candy (wow!), popcorn, note cards, note pads, stickies, dried fruit, a box of single servings of my favorite chai tea, etc. I felt spoiled! :] Looking forward to keeping in touch. This is the 2nd month I've participated and I've enjoyed it greatly and I'm sorry for any others that haven't had the same experience.

I am so happy you liked it Candy. You deserved some good things, glad we were able to "meet" and exchange boxes. I loved mine too! Definately want to keep in touch. Am looking forward to looking to you for advice and learning from you since you're what I consider a pro. :]

You started out lower than me Marla. I've noticed I have to fight for each oz and it's getting harder and harder. I worry I will stop losing, but I'm not giving up. I was on vacation for 4 days, didn't track and I know I didn't get in half my protein or water, but I can tell that even though I drank alcohol, (which wasn't a good idea) I ate less food, smaller portions, and made healthier choices than I did last year there. That's my NSV and now i'm back to tracking and exercising, upping my protein and water. -

I also had the protein issue and couldn't stand shakes. I tried the syntrax nectar the others are talking about in the fuzzy navel flavor. I mix it with 4oz water, tastes like slightly watered down Sunny D to me. -
What ya eating tonight?

Don't get too discouraged' date=' losing is losing. I know its easier said than done, especially when we see such high numbers of losses from others, but remember were all unique and will make our way to goal at the pace our bodies allow. Some may even have lower numbers than us. believe me I do understand, right there with you-had mine on the 10th and down just over 40. I did hit the 100's but I still have a long way to go at my turtle pace. I exercise at least 4-5 days a week, some days harder than others. I don't eat much, and nothing at all like some of the crazy days of my past, but some days are certainly more well planned and behaved than others. I know I wasn't getting in enough water or protein, so this last week I focused on both those things. I'm hoping it will help increase both my energy level and weight loss, and slow my hair loss. On the positive side, I can see and feel my body changing; my face is slimming out, my big booty's not so big anymore, I actually have a waist now, and my arms/thighs are a bit smaller. It's funny, my hb always liked the feel of my hips (esp when we're snuggled up about to sleep), now he says the padding's going away-it's boney. Lol, makes me laugh thinking there's a "boney" part of my body, but I'll take it! ;'] -
