    program fee?

The good thing about mine was I paid it the first time I was in the program, and they didn't make me pay again when I restarted.

    program fee?

My program has a $500 fee. What it's for is all the supplies for the workshop, as well as unlimited support groups for life. There used to be a charge to attend the groups, now they have the one time program fee and that's it.

    Boobies!

They've been the cause of quite a few Bach aches lol

    Support

My boyfriend is the same way. He's very supportive, but it's a touchy subject for him. He's worried about all the things that could happen. It's good that they worry, it shows that they love you

    Boobies!

I'm starting at a 46DDD (the size my bra is, though the person that measured me said I should wear a 52H) and I hope I lose some, but not TOO much. I don't want smaller than a D or DD.

    Emotional day today

I think what she meant by 'pretend I had the surgery' was to follow the diet as if I already had it and it will help in losing weight before the surgery.
  7. Yesterday I heard that I've been submitted and am awaiting approval. Today I'm very extra emotional. I think it's because I just feel like something is going to go wrong again. I've had so many issues with trying to get this surgery done.....as much as I WANT it, I guess I just don't see it happening anymore. I feel like instead of waiting for approval, I'm just waiting to be let down again :-/

    Emotional day today

I'm ok. Still waiting to hear, and getting more anxious each day I wait. I'm still convinced something will go wrong (again) that will stall, or stop, this from happening. If I could just hear back and get a date I would be do relieved!

    15 min eating

Check with your nutritionist. I've always been told you should take 30 mins to eat your meal so you don't eat too quickly. Also you don't want to measure what you're eating by time, you need to measure by quantity.
  10. That's huge! You're doing great

    Not Losing....

You'll get there! I haven't even bought a scale, and don't plan to until I lose at least half of my goal. I don't want to feel discouraged, so I'll just get weighed in at the doctors office.
  12. Well how are you supposed to drink your iced coffee then lol
  13. Really? I've never heard that. Why can't you use straws? A friend of mine drinks with straws all the time and she had the surgery.
  14. I'm planning on being out for a week and a half. Mainly because that's all the vacation time I have. But I do have sick time just in case I need a few more days. I sit at a desk all day so as long as I don't have any complications I should be fine.

    What to do

Better to do it now than when you're trying to chase around a toddler lol Congrats!
  16. You're not a failure. It's a struggle for all of is. If it was easy we wouldn't need the surgery. It's going to take a long time to make the changes, but it's good that you're starting now. Keep it up and don't get discouraged. Stay focused on the long term goal.

    Drainage tube?

Not everyone gets it. My friend had the surgery last year and she didn't have a drain at all.

    Iced Tea Dilema

I work for Nestlé. We have 3 brands of iced tea. Nestea, Sweet Leaf, and Tradewinds. They all have diet teas, though none are caffeine free. Tradewinds also has an unsweetened tea that you could sweeten with Splenda or liquid stevia to your liking.

    Emotional day today

Thanks. I just hope I don't have to wait too long for an answer.
  20. I've called my surgeon's office twice now in the last week to see if they've submitted me for approval yet, and no one has called me back. Getting very frustrated. They're usually really good at keeping in contact.

    Getting frustrated

I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt, maybe she was on vacation for the holidays and it took her some time to catch up

    New here!

Thanks! She said UHC usually takes 2-3 weeks. I hope not that long!

    Getting frustrated

Don't know. They said they'd be submitting me right after the first of the year and now I can't get them to answer me....
