It's definitely not for everyone but if done right can be enjoyable. Do research first, go slow, and most importantly use a good lube! Oh lord I hope no one I know joins this forum.

My boyfriend and I are avid fans of Athena's. They have great toys, lubes, etc. Also have some nice spa products.

About the NuvaRing.....isn't it awkward to insert? And do you feel anything? Can it slip out or be felt during sex by either person? I'm starting Depo at the end of this month but want to be prepared with a back up plan in case I don't like it.

Ok I'd like to participate for the next round!

That's where I got my first ones to try. The shop I went to today had other flavors that GNC didn't have so I got some more to try out.

Just wondering, what does your surgeon/nutritionist tell you you should be getting, and what are you getting realistically? -
Whats everyone getting for protein?

I'm supposed to be getting 60. Some days I come really close. Some days nowhere near it. Rarely do I go over. It was easy when I first started soft foods, but you can only eat turkey, chicken, or tuna so much before you get sick of it. -
Puréed would be anything you could drink (cream soups) or that doesn't have to be chewed. If it has pieces in it that need to be chewed at all, it's not puréed.

Homemade pizza! I used one side of a multi-grain sandwich thin as the crust and put a spoon of sauce and some shredded cheese. Cooked for 2 mins under the broiler. Was delish, and the perfect size! -

Thanks for the tip -
Maybe, but I've drank other things with straws and haven't noticed the gassy feeling. Maybe it's something with the coffee....or maybe I just need to pay more attention lol

I can do decaf and I'm fine with that. Can't do the fake sugar or no sugar though I find if I use just a little bit of regular sugar it's ok. Also at work I use the coffeemate powdered creamer and that's good but if I get coffee at Starbucks I get it with skim. Been finding lately that iced coffee gives me major gas. Haven't noticed it with hot coffee, wonder why that is.

I have it now after just a protein shake. And I'm at work. I work in a call center, and I'm pretty darn sure the customers can hear it over the phone :-/ -

I get excited to take the monthly pics now because that's the only real way I see the changes -
Try a different protein drink. The Atkins ones are ok. Also the chocolate Body Fortress powder at Walmart mixed with almond milk is really good. Tastes like yummy chocolate milk. If you're a coffee lover you can also mix it with some decaf coffee and ice and make like a mocha milkshake. That's what I've been doing and it's totally saved me.

What EXACTLY can I eat at these restaurants....?
pookybear replied to Cherry's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I don't have specifics but soup is always a safe bet, and it's not as expensive as meals and you can't take it home. Or you can order an appetizer as a meal if there's anything decent. -

In moderation. I made a little pasta with mostly meat sauce.
