    Opinion on gyms

I've never been to any of them other than YMCA. But look at the options each one offers. Does one offer classes you might be interested in? Does one have a pool you might want to take advantage of? Does and of them have a 'women only' workout area? Does one offer daycare (if that's something you need)?

    Lauren's Hope medical jewelry

I only ordered the medical tag so far. Waiting til I lose most of my weight before I order a pretty band, in case my wrists get smaller For now I have it on a chain bracelet that I had.

    help!

It's perfectly normal for your sense of smell to be all out of whack for a few weeks. It happens to all of us. It'll ease up over time.

    planet fitness

I go to planet fitness but right now I only use the treadmill. Too self conscious to try anything else!

    What ya eating tonight?

You're already doing better than me. I accidentally bought corn tortillas instead of regular ones. My pouch has NOT been happy with me so far.
  14. I have UHC and from what I've read of other people's posts on here I'm starting to get a little nervous. No one has mentioned anything to me about a required 6month dr monitored diet, no ones told me anything about possibly having to pay my portion of the costs upfront. Do you really have to pay upfront before surgery? I've never had any kind of surgery or procedure before, so I never even thought of this as a possibility. If that's the case, I may not be having surgery after all.
  15. I don't want one....ok maybe sometimes I do lol My question, though, is because my BF's friend had RNY and drinks energy drinks all the time. It just made me wonder how bad they are for you post-op and how they might effect you.

    What ya eating tonight?

Boiled the hot dog (it's a chicken dog), lightly browned the tortilla in a pan and put a slice of cheese on top, put the dog on that and rolled it and just browned it a little more for the tortilla to stay closed. Could only eat half, though.

    What ya eating tonight?

Cheese dog! 13.5 g of protein, and every bit as yummy as it looks!
  18. Have you had your vitamins checked? Some deficiencies can affect your vision.

I'm allowed up to 2 protein snacks a day according to my nutrition packet.

    munching

I snack. I'm not ashamed to admit it. But I try to have protein snacks, like cottage cheese, string cheese, nuts, etc. And I definitely limit how much.

    body wraps?! yay or nay

It's like most anything else, you can't use it once and have a permanent solution. You have to keep up with it.

    Energy drinks?

But even if you can tolerate the sugar, I'm sure the Taurine or whatever else they put in it for energy would be so bad for you. If I think of it I'll ask the doc on my next appointment, just out of curiosity.

    Energy drinks?

I used to before surgery but gave them up. I just think if they tell you to limit caffeine and alcohol because of how it can effect you, energy drinks must be worse!
