    dumping

Same here! I am glad, though, that I can still have my OJ. Just in small quantities

    What ya eating tonight?

Made myself a snack. I got bananas the other day, peeled and cut them in half and froze them. Then I'll take one out and dip it in a little peanut butter. So yummy. Next time, though, I'll put Popsicle sticks in them so I don't freeze my fingers

    What ya eating tonight?

I can't take the papaya enzymes anymore I've tried them so man times and ended up still puking after, that now I swear they make me puke. It's all in my head, I know.

    Fabulous February Post-Op's

    I've always shed a LOT so I haven't really noticed a difference

    What ya eating tonight?

At least the sausage patty that I had in a breakfast sandwich didn't bother me. Fried sausage I'm sure would.

    What ya eating tonight?

I can have one piece tops. Usually limit it to half a piece. Any more than that and I'll get sick. Sausage doesn't bother me.

    What ya eating tonight?

I was told I should definitely be having shakes, it's near impossible to get enough Protein in a day from food alone.

    What ya eating tonight?

I've found that I can't eat the same thing twice in one day. If I have something for lunch it'll be fine but if I have it again for dinner it makes my tummy rather angry. Weird.

    Birthcontrol

Absolutely!! You'll be extra fertile now and you want to make sure you're protected! I started Nuva Ring and I love it. I waited 3 months but probably could've started it right away.

    What ya eating tonight?

No noodle tuna casserole. Made with cauliflower. It was delicious and my pouch is very happy.

    Am I Over-Reacting?

And very true! I don't even keep my scale at home. I leave it at my boyfriends house and only weigh myself once a week.

    Fabulous February Post-Op's

Ok well my surgery was 2/27. In December 2012 I weighed 419. On my day of surgery I weighed 399. Judging by my home scale I'm down to 321(ish). So that's a loss of 78 lbs since surgery, 98 total. My goal is 215(ish). Just wondering on people's opinions on this. Does my loss so far seem good or slow?

    Am I Over-Reacting?

Not exactly sure what you mean by 'malabsorption window'....I was always told the malabsorption will last forever.

    What do you say?

Same thing with drinks. At first I'd tell them I didn't want anything to drink with my meal. Then one time I had the waitress ask me 5 times during a meal if I was sure I didn't want anything to drink. Now I just get a water and it either sits there untouched or my boyfriend drinks it.

    What do you say?

I find myself feeling kind of awkward when eating out and the waiter sees how little I ate. I almost always ask for the rest to go, but I feel like they're insulted that I didn't like the food or something, anyone I eat with (at least so far) has known I had the surgery so I haven't had to explain anything. But if anyone asked I'd either tell them about the surgery or just say I'm not really hungry.

    First bad food experience!

I've been there. You definitely want to mix your tuna with mayo. The envelopes only have a small amount of water, it's very dry without mayo.

    What ya eating tonight?

This was a Gardenburger. I have to get some!

    What ya eating tonight?

Currently eating the first veggie burger of my life. It's actually pretty good! Wish I knew what brand it is so I could buy some for myself. My work is having a 4th cookout and I didn't want to get sick on one of the greasy premade burgers, and it's nice to have an option other than a plain hot dog.
