All of a sudden I just got this bad aching/cramping feeling in my belly, under my breasts. It's all way across, left to right. I only had soup and some crackers for lunch, about an hour ago. I had the same soup yesterday and I was fine with it. Anyone know what might be causing it?

Horrible aching in my belly

I think it might've been gas. Or maybe a cracker piece moving through my passages that wasn't chewed enough. -

I looked up the symptoms for a gallbladder attack and it doesn't sound anything like what I had. If it comes back again though I will call the doc. -

Small can of pumpkin (pre-seasoned, or add your own spices), container of sugar free cool whip, and a dry box of sugar free vanilla pudding (don't mix, leave it dry). Mix it all together and yumm. -

I'm 7 months out. It went away after an hour or so and just left me with that slightly achy feeling you get after pain goes away. I will call if it happens again though. I can best describe it as really bad period cramps, but right under your ribs. -

Also I have a recipe for low-fat (fat free?) sugar free pumpkin dip that's fantastic for apple slices or graham crackers -

Pumpkin butter on apple slices for me! Tastes like pumpkin pie filling and I can have as much as I want because there's not much sugar in it. I'm a happy girl :-D -

I use Nuva Ring as well and I absolutely love it. Had some spotting the first month but that was it. I do get a period monthly but I'm going to try the suggestion of leaving it in for 4 weeks! No issues with it coming out other than one time it came out along with a tampon. Other than that it stays put and I don't even feel it. My boyfriend says he doesn't feel it during sex either.

It does ease up. I had this a LOT the first few months. Not so much now.

Went shopping for clothes for the first time since surgery today. When I started the process I wore a size 32. Today I bought 5 pairs of pants, 4 of which are size 24, and one is a size 22! Then I went to Target for compression shorts and got those in a size XL! OMG I am feeling pretty darn good about myself today -

We went to The Melting Pot today for a date lunch. Had the 4 course meal. I'll never do that again! It was really good and healthier than you'd get in most restaurants, but there was way too much food. Next time I'll stick to just the cheese fondue. -
Utinaty tract infections

Not sure, but I do take a daily cranberry pill to avoid getting a UTI. Works wonders. -

Went to El Mariachi on Sunday and got the Arre Burrito. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended! -

Gardenburger with reduced fat provolone and a little light sour cream for a treat -
Depends on how good you're feeling. I waited a week.

What do you eat for breakfast?
pookybear replied to futuremrsparker's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Have you tried Quest protein bars? I have them sometimes for breakfast. Or oatmeal with some unflavored protein added. For shakes, I drink the Atkins shakes and I mix them in with my coffee. -
Can't see a nutritionist unfortunately so I'm on my own to figure out what I should be getting. What are/were you getting at 6 months for calories, fat, carbs, sodium, etc. just trying to get an idea of where I should be. Thanks
