    Friday Weigh-In!

    Dos 2-20-13 Hw 222 Cw 146 Started in a size 20- and am now down to a size 4. I had a csection when I was 21 and then 3 natural births- my only trouble spot is my tummy where my csection was. Feeling GREAT!! Best thing I've ever done!

    Oh my goodness how fun the sex is!! My hair fell out a bunch over summer but is growing back in, I've got though sands of spikey 3" pieces that stick out everywhere and my hair is about down to my waist, I won't cut it, I won't cut it, I won't cut it (repeat)....

    Sassy you sound (well I read it as if it were you talking) SASSY!!! Great job!! I love feeling my husband touch me and tell me how beautiful I am, even with the saggy skin! I feel amazing too! Very blessed to have had this opportunity!!

    I LOVE cauliflower!! Had a hard time with broccoli for a while. I also love roasted veggies like zucchini, sweet potato, onion, mushrooms, green beans..... Love toasted veggies!

    Fabulous February!

    I'm here!! It's been a ride for sure! I had my biggest low a few months ago, the monthly cycles were making me nuts, went back on medicine and am feeling normal again. I'm slow loosing, think I've only lost 6# since August. School started back up so back to work I went and stopped working out. It's hard to get it back into my routine. I have lost 72 pounds and I'm at 150. I'd like to see MY scale hit the 140 range, dr office is about 6# heavier but I don't care. I feel good and am eating well. I was throwing up maybe 3x a month if I didn't chew right and ate too fast, (so glad I'm able to puke it up then suffer that feeling!), and it's now maybe 1x a month or every other. Getting used to my new self and listening to what my body tells me! I'm still sensitive when my husband wraps his arm around me- it kinda is a weird numb hurt feeling in that one spot. Anyhow- so glad to be here and I do hope all of you are doing well! Would love to hear how we've all be doing!! Wendee

    40's New Beginnings

    I had RNY Feb 2013 and turned 41 this past may. Best thing I've ever done for myself! I'm 5'2 and weighted 222 in a size 20. I'm now 150 and in a size 6. I have a lot of muscle so it weighs more, it's inherited.... But I'm so glad of the choice I made! I feel great! Shot 2 deer last night about 200 yards away from our house and after finding them ran the entire way back to the house! Like RAN! I was out of breath and the cold freezing air made it hard to breath but HEY!!!! Anyhow! Good luck to all of you in your 40's! It's my new 30 for sure!!

    So the whole app changed and then I forgot my password- finally made it back here! I'm at 150, size 6 and I'm cool with it! Shot my first ever deer tonight- actually killed 2! Sorry if it grosses you out- got a head shot on this one (me in the picture) and the other I hit along the spine!

    I can tell ya what I WILL be eating soon: dear chili!! Just shot my first ever and got 2! One in the head (pictured) and a smaller one in the spine! Just did it a few hours ago! Sorry if it's gross to some, it's good eating to us!! That's bringing home the bacon

    Geeezzzzzzz it's been hard to find my way back here! New app and I forgot my password!! RNY 2/20/13 Hw- 222 Cw- 150 Feeling SUPER great! Went from a size 20 and fitting into a size 6. Think I'll try 5 more pounds and then hope to stay at 145 ish.

    Fabulous February Post-Op's

    Hi everyone. It's been a while since I've been here. Having summer off from work its been super busy with being home with my girls! My dos was 2/20/13- 222 hw Current weight is 161. I've been stuck in the 160's going on 2 months now. Was losing 10# a month at the least so enjoyed seeing myself drop into a new range the next month. My hair has fallen out super bad this past month. I have really long hair and with swimming daily, gardening, I swim- rap it into a bun, take a bath- wrap it into a bun.... Haven't been brushing my hair daily and did today for the first time in 5 days! (I really suck at having and taking care of long hair- don't know why I try and keep it long but I feel more attractive and my husband likes long hair on me) so anyhow- it was a terrible mess! Massive hair loss Feeling kinda low about the stall and now the hair loss. I suppose I need to kick myself in gear and do more.... I work out 5x a week and am constantly on the go, eat well.... Just stinks kinda..

    Been hanging out in the 160's all the month of june. My goal is at least 10# a month! Today's weight 164- last week was 163! I was hoping for 159 by July 1st! Been Jazzercising 5 days a week- building muscles for sure! Size wise I'm between a tight 8 and a 10! Sw-222 Sd- 2/20/13 Tw-164

    Real Food - Is it worth the effort?

    Low carb yogurt, cheese sticks, meatballs, tuna, salmon, eggs.... Cook yourself the "meal" and immediately freeze portions and label them. I rarely have "meals"- I'm past 3 months out. We have a big family so I will have a serving of what ever it is I have made for everyone. Protein first, then if I have room a bite or 2 of veggies. The first 2 months I focused on the Protein shakes and then would nibble on "real food". Now if I'm short on protein I will add in a shake.
