|Kat817 thanks for the advice. I am going to call to schedule another fill. I have already begun to move more. The food journal would be good because, I'm probably taking in more than I think. -
I was banded April 18th & have only lost 13lbs. Everytime I get a fill, I have some restriction for a short period of time then it goes away. When I go back for a fill, I always have less than is supposed to be in there. I did my last fil with fluro & dye injection. Supposedly I don't have a leak. Something is wrong here and now I feel my surgeon has less experience than he led me to believe. Please help!!!

I am proud of myself for doing my elliptical early this morning. All I could do was 10 minutes & then I went for a short walk to cool down. I was out of breath. Let's keep working at it.

I'm having a hard time with reverting back to the old behaviors of overeating. My weight loss has been extremely slow & I've never got really good restriction. What has worked for ya'll? -
I have a machine at home that was collecting dust. Recently, i dedided to start using it again & it's tough. I'm thinking of moving mine into the den, so I can use it while I watch the morning news. We can keep each other posted on our progress.

I don't have much restriction & I am having problems with the same binge eating behavior that got me here. Any suggestions on overcoming that behavior of overeating.

Thanks for the advice. I will speak to my surgeon about using a stopcock & omnipaque for my next fill. I noticed that you have been very sucessful with your weight loss. What has helped you to acheive this? Where do you find the ticker on this site?

I have had 4 fills of 1cc each. Each time I go in for a fill , I have lost at least half if not more of the saline in my band. This is soooo frustrating.

What happened with your band? Did you have a leak , if so where?

Julie, Was your leak in the band or the port? What solution did they use? I wonder if the manufactor of the port has some kind of warrenty if the band leaks.

Did you have to go back into surgery to have your port changed? Was it painful?

I went to the DR. today for a fill. When he aspirated the solution out of the band to make sure how much I had, I had lost 1.5cc in 3 weeks. He is going to recheck the amount next week again. He thinks that I may have a problem with the tube connected to the injection port. Has anyone had this problem? If so, what was the solution for you?:cry

I'm having some problem with mid-afternoon eating. I also wonder if I have stretched my pouch. I have 3cc's in a 10cc band & can still eat about 50-60% of what I did pre-band. Next week I'm going for another fill & I'm hoping to have better restriction. How many cc's does it usually take to get good restriction?

I only told my husband. He urged me to tell the children & my family, but I didn't.He was afraid something would happen during surgery & he would have to explain it to my family. This was a very personal decision & i want to keep it that way.

Can anyone suggest a protein shake that is already prepared & tatsty. I need something that I can grab on the go in the morning. -
I was banded on 4/18/07 & lost only 9-10lbs. My band has 3cc at present & I don't have much restriciton. My old sweet cravings & desire to binge eat is still there. Could something be wrong or will it get better with more fills?
