Thanks everyone for your replies they were all helpful. I'm going to stay away from poultry for a whike. Tomorrow I will try tilapia. Hopefully that goes smoothly.

Ok. I'm 11 days post op and I put 1TB of peanut butter in my protein shake. Is that ok? On some web sites I read its ok on some they say stay away. What's your opinion?

I just finished serving my family thr dinner I made them. Baked chicken thighs and mashed potatoes with a green salad on the side. I served them all, grabbed my crystal light lemonade and sat down with them. Kinda sad because I wish I could eat but, happy I'm losing weight so I can deal with it. Then my hubby says. 'You should leave the table I dnt feel comfortable eating infront of you' I say I'm ok I can handle it. But he insist he can't eat that way. So here I am in my room waiting on my family to b done eating. Feeling left out. I'm exactly one week post op today..... oh well. It will get better. Just tired of liquids blah!

Yeah he meant well because he knows I want food but, the way it came out made me feel isolated

Anyone ekse break out in a rash from the adhesive used in surgery? I have this really irritating rash. Full of water blisters. I have been applying hydrocortisone cream but its still driving me crazy. What should I do?

2nd day post op. I feel like I am not drinking enough. Got in 20 oz of water and only one oz of protein shake. Its so heavy on my belly

Surgery went well yesterday. Walked thtee laps in the hallway this morning. Just feeling sleepy and my belly is sore. To be honest. It still doesn't feel real. LOL. CONGRATS to everyone else who had surgery yesterday too !!!! We made it!
