Gallbladder surgery
Ms. Mandy replied to vbgirl264's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
They should have your gallbladder removed with surgery! I was feeling so missable a couple weeks after surgery ... They didn't tell me til after I was rushed to the ER from work that that the gallbladder usually goes to crap after surgery ... Wish I would have known before hand that there was a chance of that before surgery so I knew what was going on. -

When is the second stall for weight loss?
-
That's so awesome!! I think I will try to keep my inches somewhere. I have only had one stall a months or so after surgery but I'm pretty sure I am on my way to the second one. I am about 5 months post op. I know it's normal but always scary!!

Has anyone tried insanity after surgery? I was thinking it would be good to use tone up the body and help with sagging skin (I know it won't get rid of it, but help it).

I really want something that will help me transform my body ... The surgery is great but I also want to be in great shape and healthy.

What can you do to help the flab on your arms??
-
Thanks lady! I am going to try to do it but not going to feel like a failure if I don't. I am going to try to get as close as possible! ????

So probably loosing 100 lbs during the first six months isn't probably realistic. I have lost 54 lbs since my surgery date in November and 64 lbs all together.

Ms. Mandy replied to TxDumplin's topic in Protein, Vitamins, and Supplements
I go to GNC and have their gold card which gives you discount. They are do specials and coupons. But if there was someplace better I would like to know also ... Saving money is never a bad thing! -
How does everyone feel about pizza?
-
So far I have only ate the toppings no crust but not sure if that's on a lists of approved foods ... It doesn't settle to well either. So I know probably should not eat it ( even just the toppings) that's why I was wondering if anyone could tolerate it and the opinions if we should eat it or not. I don't want this surgery not to successful

Four months post op
Ms. Mandy replied to Ms. Mandy's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Glad to know I'm not the only one ... It is kind of nerve racking ... I will probably call my doc to see if this is normal. Thank for the response -
I'm only four months out and starting to get that hungry feeling at times. I thought this was suppose to happen closer to a year? I feel like I can eat more without getting that icky feeling in my stomach ... Makes me nervous. I still measure and eat an average of 600 ... I can also take bigger sips of water without it feeling up my stomach. I guess I'm scared my pouch is stretched, but I have been making good choices and not over eating. Any suggestions on what could be going on? Is this normal?
