Ms. Mandy replied to Solveig Larsen's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I just had my gallbladder removed last Saturday. It was a horrible pain ... It all happened while at work. I was rushed to the ER and admitted two days later it was out. I had to wait because in on blood thinners. I personally thought that it was painful. Still a bit sore around the belly button and right side of my belly but feeling much better now that's its gone! Good luck to you ladies! -

The surgery from my gallbladder seems to be hurting worse than actual GB surgery ... Maybe cause I was on morphine afterwards? I just want to feel 100% better ... This has not been a easy journey

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, usually abbreviated to NSAIDs—but also referred to as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agents/analgesics (NSAIAs) or nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIMs)—are a class of drugs that provide analgesic and antipyretic (fever-reducing) effects, and, in higher doses, anti-inflammatory effects.

GNC has a good unflavored protein powder that is not griddy and goes down pretty smooth. I add it to my protein shakes ... It makes it be 42g of protein in one 11oz shake!

Ouch!! Those are huge! When I found I was having gallbladder issues ... Naeusea all the time ... Then the pain hit hard and would not go away. It was in my back between my shoulder blades and in the front of my chest. Took morphine for the pain to ease up a bit. Now after surgery it still hurts BAD and I have thrown up everytime I have ate :/ which doesn't help with the healing process because the use of stomach muscles. I just keep praying everyday that it gets better.

Third time since November ... I am not sure how many more bumps in the road I can take . November 14th was surgery, five days later was diagnosed with a pulmonary embolism and was back in the hospital for three more days... And now I am back since yesterday afternoon when I was rushed to the ER from work. I am hopefully having my gallbladder taken out in the morning but will have to wait on my blood work to come back because I am on blood thinners they can not do it right away. I will say though that I am in good hands with the Mercy team and Dr. Roller just sucks that I have to do it! Prayers would greatly be accepted ... I'm a bit nervous :/. Thank u all for being great supporters
