  1. Thats the key... excercise. For some reason, when you excercise at 350 pounds, it does nothing but if you excercise at 200 pounds you actually see a difference. You can actually see the scale move and that motivates you to keep at it.
  2. Thank you. I didnt have any plastic surgery. I do have extra skin but its hard to see in the video and pics. I plan on having a TT even tho family and friends say i dont need it. I do a lot of walking in the summer. Thats about all the excercise I do. I have no extra skin on my legs, arm and neck... just my belly has some extra.
  3. Watch my success story on YouTube here: And read about my journey here: www.ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-776322
  4. Thank you. It's a daily thing. As long as you stick to your goals you will have no problems. Listen to your body. If you eat too much, it'll tell you. Best Wishes
  5. Ya, i felt the same way. When i was just out of surgery i ate very very very little. only a few bites of food a day and a little bit of water. I think thats why I lost so much weight so fast.
  6. Im almost 4 yrs out. I eat everything except pasta... makes me dump. I eat about a 1 - 1 1/2 cups of food at a time. I never feel the need to eat, never have hunger pains. I can eat whenever i want and i can drink something the same time i eat unlike right after surgery when it was either drink something or eat something. I do a lot of greek salads, oatmeal, chicken, mashed pot, fruits and veggies (except cucumbers bc i had one get stuck and it was horrible)
  7. Wow. Our stories are almost identicle. Ive had a herniated disc since 1995. Back pain was horrible. They cant operate on me. I had RNY in 2009... best decison ive ever made. I started at 350... im at 178-80 now and have been there for the last 2.5 years. Its like night and day.
  8. I plan on never going back. Ive maintained my weight for 2+ years ( w/ weekly excercise of course). Its so much easier to excercise at 170lbs than it is at 330lbs! Best of luck to everyone
  9. Thank you. Im a lot happier too. I have some excess skin that i want removed. Once thats done, my transformation will be complete. Thanks for all the kind words... much appreciated
  10. Thank you. It was the best decision of my life.

  19. I have the same problem. I passed 4-5 stones prior to surgery. 6 months post-op I was passing one a month and have been doing so for about 2.5+ years. Try and drink water. My stones are calcium oxalate. Lots of water and pain meds. No NSAIDS.
