Oh yeah, I hit a stall. 5 days now :-( I was wondering when it would happen. But I started back at the gym so that's a good thing. Gen :-) 12/15/12
  2. At about 2-3 weeks I was around 300-400 calories. At 3 months, I'm 600-700 a day. Gen :-) 12/15/12

So today I thought I would try the chocolate protein shake again. I knew I wasn't going to be able to drink it as soon as I scooped it. The smell turned me off. Oh well, I said to myself I will drink it anyways. I was only able to take one drink and I was done. I'm so thankful for syntrax nectar. Gen :-) 12/15/12

My goal is basically the same as yours and I'm 40 shy of it. I think I will change the goal when I get closer by dropping 10 more, to 130 or even only 5 to 135. Congrats Marla and NieNie Gen :-) 12/15/12

I'm so proud of everyone and how they are doing. Are there any regrets out there for the surgery? For those of us who are still posting, it seems like we are all very happy and content with our decision. I hope those that follow the thread and aren't posting are happy with their decision to have this surgery too. Congrats to all of us December group for giving it our all and making out dreams come true for better health. My sleep apnea is gone :-) Cholesterol is back in normal range. My back issues have dramatically decreased. Honestly if I could get this damn divorce settled, I think my depression and anxiety would be dramatically reduced too. But within a month it will be over. Thank goodness. Husband has not agreed with any type of settlement cuz he is now refusing to pay alimony, so we will have to go to court. He has also decided to become a deadbeat. I never thought I would say that of him. He stopped paying alimony (almost 2000 behind) and child support (to date 6750 behind). I want to thank you all who have been sympathetic and have listened to me about my ass or ex problems. I am more than willing to listen to any one on here to help you out if I can. So drop me a message if you don't want to post in open forum;-) Gen :-) 12/15/12

I didn't really set a goal either. I just decided to set one. I'm down to 180 now and thought, I should set one. I haven't been 180 in years (8 actually). after I had the twins, I lost the weight rather quickly. But the with the depression of losing one I gained and continued to. Back then I refused to get mental help. I'm so glad I am now. It has changed me for the better. I wished years ago I had started going. So that is weight gain story. Depression :-( it's a bugar and has bad side effects. Although one med they put me on I swear I gained so much weight within the 3 months I was on it. It actually took me to my highest weight ever, 271. I gained about 15lbs a month on it and I even gave up sugary products like Dr recommended but still had the horrible gain. I'm still getting only between 500-700 calories a day though. What about you Nicole? My Nut said it is fine for me. Gen :-) 12/15/12

I find it amazing that our weight loss is the same. Congrats :-) What is your end weight loss goal ladies and gents? Mine is 135, 45lbs to go. It would be nice if I reached it by end of summer, counting in stalls and loss to slow some. But hopefully before that. Gen :-) 12/15/12

I'm sorry for the health problems you are still having. Also, for the lack of weight loss. Did you see your nutritionist? If you're unhappy w your surgeon, is there a way you can switch to another one that is willing to listen and help? I really don't know how that works but there has to be a remedy. Your insurance shouldn't continue to pay for office visits when there is no outcome or plan of relief from the health issues you're having. Those ideas other than speaking to your Nut is all I can think about to offer any helpful advice. Gen :-) 12/15/12

Statements like your last sentence brings tears to my eyes cuz I'm so scared it won't happen. I have had a hard life with loses that shouldn't have occurred. Today my therapist called me on her day off again cuz she knows everything and how difficult it is for me at times. I said something to her that was kind of ironic. Being a military wife, we had been moved several times in the last 10 years. My daughter by her freshman year in HS was in 9 schools. Well what I told my therapist was that all Jessi's life we had music playing throughout the house. In our home, which we bought in NV thinking it was last time for a move, we installed speakers throughout the house in the ceiling. We had music on all the time. I told my therapist that when we moved from NV the music stopped, literally and figuratively. Just before the move I had a break down which may have been the start to the end of my marriage. After we left our home and NV, We stopped playing music throughout the house. Only music that has been listened to has been in the bedroom to just my daughter or I. Before that we were listening to the same thing, singing together throughout the house. My therapist said that it sounds like that is something that we need to do again. She's right. So today, all day we had our sound system on in the new house with music playing while we cleaned with my daughter and I singing. It felt great. I decided that I will have speakers installed in the ceilings of Jess' and my house, so no matter where we are at in the house we are listening and singing like we used to do when we were happier. I guess a way of moving on from the past but still taking a small thing from it that fulfilled us. Gen :-) 12/15/12

I had a complete hysterectomy including lymph nodes a month and half after RNY. I also have gallstones. But fortunately they don't give me too much in problems so far. I'm healing nicely now :-) Gen :-) 12/15/12
