After reading, low blood pressure can be a complication of GBP. I read that it clears up on its own and is due to the changes that the body undergoes. Very good to know. Gen :-) -

I'm getting 7 -8 ounces a day. I used to drink 3 liters a day before surgery, but since surgery all I can get in is 1 1/2 liters. Gen :-) -

Has anyone been waking up with a speeding pulse? I thought it was the shakes but I realized this morning it's my pulse. Once I move around, I believe it normalizes. Once I realized it was my pulse, I tried taking it and the movement slowed it down. Headaches could be due to lack of sugar in foods maybe (kind of like a caffeine withdrawal), lack of food or some dehydration. Gen :-) -

Today I have been able to get 5 cups water in and 63g protein. Ugh 2 more water after my 30 minutes. I feel like I'm doing to much. But I wait 30 before and after meal. I'm not used to eating 3 meals (2 shakes and 1/4 cup soup) so I need to get more protein in 1 sitting. Will the body absorb 35g of protein with 1 meal? Does anyone know? My protein mix is 24g, milk is 8, then I add non dairy dry milk 3g's worth. Wonder if that is too much protein for breakfast, although it takes an hour for the 8 ounces. Gen :-) -

I haven't tried the lactose free milk either. I'm going to try regular again in hopes my body can tolerate it. If it doesn't I'll look into the lactaid. I love the unflavored unjury in the soups. Soup just needs to be cooler than 140degrees or it ruins the proteins. Gen :-) -

You're welcome. How are you doing with getting liquids n proteins in? I mix my shakes and am going to try milk again instead of water. I hope it works so I will clear proteins w/out any worries. Gen :-) -
