My leg skin needs to go. My stomach needs a little tuck, and I'd like to have my breasts back, lol. I'm afraid of the cost of all of it. :-( However I'm still going to get a consult for legs and tummy at least. Gen :-) 12/15/12

Lol , Janice. Do you attend a group for people who has had weight loss surgery. That might help. You'd probably freak out on my diet. I focus on protein only. Once that's done, I add in veggies and fruits for dinner. I don't touch potatoes, rice, bread, Pasta, none of that higher carb stuff, etc. Gen :-) 12/15/12

Janice, I'm sorry your having these cravings. My Nut just had me add in protein bars. I'm at 130 and don't want to lose anymore. So she suggested trying protein bars. I hadn't touched one before that cuz I was afraid of the calories in them. But now I want to maintain, I have 1 a day. OMG, I tried regular ice cream and it makes me sick. I don't want to get in a habit of eating ice cream so I am not even going to try sugar free. I only get about 800 calories a day. Maybe a little more now. I've stopped tracking and really need to get back to doing it. On a personal decision: my chest size has dropped to a C cup :-( I was a DD. I have excess skin and planned on a lift anyways so I'm thinking about implants. There is a great gel style out that feels quite natural. The material inside is gummy texture similar to gummy bears, lol. I no longer have love handles, unless you count just a little bit of hanging skin. Tummy tuck will be a definite to remove the excess skin. It bothers me A LOT. Don't give up Janice. It's just head games and you can beat it. Gen :-) 12/15/12

For those interested and struggle to get protein in during the day: I am able to get 3 meals in during the day. I can't have 4-6 small as some nuts suggest. If I did that I would never get liquids in. I have breakfast which generally is Special K protein (14g protein). I've started drinking coffee and make it w a scoop of chocolate protein (before adding the protein, I add ice to cool some over 140 degrees destroys protein), 1 serving dry milk, and SF French vanilla coffee mate. (38g Protein in 12oz cup). I drink this cold between breakfast and lunch. (Total = 52g protein). Lunch is Danon light n fit yogurt, cheese stick, turkey (1 oz 4.5g protein) or ham (1 oz 4.5g protein) or almonds-1 serving (5g protein). (Total = 24 G protein for lunch.) Dinner is what ever I feel like eating to change it up some. At 630 or 7, I start on my last shake of the day, which is a syntax nectar Fuzzy Navel (2 scoops in a 20 oz cup, sipped on over a couple hours) (46g protein). When I work out I will have 1 scoop after workout and 1 scoop around 630-700. (Total = 46g protein) Without dinner added in that is about 108g of protein a day. Morning, coffee, and lunch is a routine and rarely changed up. Unless plans change then my dinner becomes my lunch, and lunch menu is my dinner. No I don't get bored with it cuz I eat different dinners. I LOVE the yogurt (various flavors) and string cheese and never get tired of those. I also love almonds. I never have to think about what I'm taking for lunch, just grab n go. That is how I get over 100g protein in a day, consistency w my breakfast and lunch, the coffee, then the shake. Remember this isn't counting dinner. So for dinner if I want I'll just eat a salad or fruit n veggies. I have become a creature of habit. Once a month, I will have a slice of pizza or as much of a slice that I can. I have also discovered these and my nut said I can eat them. I love them. Fiber Plus Protein bars. Yummy!!!! Well this is the new me. I'm down about 117 from date of surgery, from 8 months ago. Around 100 g + of protein a day. Physically I feel great. Emotionally ex is running me thru the mill. Well found out today he's not my ex as of yet. Michigan held on to the Jurisdiction. So right now he is a bigamist, since he married his GF. I was dropped from insurance but talked to medical insurance today and I will be reinstated and his new "wife" actually only GF was dropped. Can't wait til then find that out. She is a psycho and is going to go ballistic, lol. So finally karma is starting to catch up with them. Gen :-) 12/15/12

Jessie, congrats. You go girl. I am down to 130 - size 4 pant. I'm not thrilled that I'm still losing, but I'm not much of a meat eater anymore. I don't eat potatoes, rice, pastas, a lot of those carbs. My original goal was 125. However, I would like to stop losing anytime now and just maintain. My protein intake is approx 100g a day or more. My nutritionist told me to start eating protein bars. So I am going to start trying some out. Any ideas as to ones that taste good??? Gen :-) 12/15/12

Well this is the new me. I think I've lost almost all I'm going to without surgery. I'm happy w my weight - 135. I have started the head hunger about a month ago, hate it. If I dare to eat too much I definitely dump, not fun. Congrats all on your accomplishments and thank you for being here through all that I've went through and continue to go through in my personal life. I see no end w settling our estate w the ex. I'm totally stressed out everyday and its taking its toll on me. :-( Gen :-) 12/15/12

    What ya eating tonight?

Normal. But as you get further out from surgery you may notice that you don't want those comfort foods as you did before or at least I have. I'm 6 months out down from 250 to 136. I have myself on a pretty strict regimen. No pasta, rice, potatoes, etc. the only "processed" food I eat is Special K Plus Protein. However, once a month or so I'll treat myself to a slice of pizza, popcorn, etc. last week a friend bought M&Ms for us girls at work. She said to me I know you don't eat this stuff but I got it for you anyways. Well I ate them in a couple days, didnt have a problem w them. But I think as strict as I have been on my intake, a splurge once every month or so is OK. Gen :-) 12/15/12
