You can do it and failure will not be an option, cuz you WILL do this. You are doing great. Keep up the good work, stay hydrated, the protein going, and most of all try to remain positive and in as good as health as possible. You are strong so just keep going. Just remember we will hit stalls, I hate them and yes they are mentally challenging. But we've been given the best tool we can possibly have within us, our new pouch. Just keep saying to yourself positive thoughts. We are all here for you. You will succeed!!!!!! Gen :-) 12/15/12 -

To those of you having RNY tomorrow, I'll be right there with you except not an RNY, hysterectomy + lymph nodes. Then praying results come back as stage 1 cancer so all will be removed during the surgery. 3rd time going under anesthetics in under 2 months. So, I am worried that I won't open my eyes to see my daughter again. I have to be there at 730, surgery at 10. So here's to all us mummy's that will return home to see our babies in a couple days. We are strong, we are woman. There is nothing stronger than a woman fighting for her children. Gen :-) 12/15/12

Eating: yep I do get hungry but to eat 3 meals a day is difficult plus get all the liquids in. It's tough and NEW. I think the newness is what I'm trying to get used too. I'm ok with 2 meals, but3 really pushes it right now. Just happy you're on the other side now :-) Gen :-) 12/15/12 -

There are people struggling every day to just lose. So gaining 1 pound of most likely water weight isn't a big deal. Especially when your talking over a 50+ pound loss in a month. Just work out, get your protein and liquids. Gen :-) 12/15/12 -

So today was suppose to be a day of liquids and tomorrow clear liquids. Today I forced down 1 protein shake and 16oz water. That's it. I haven't had an urge to eat or drink anything all day. I've been cranky due to anxiety. On the verge of tears constantly. Geez it's been a really bad day. I hope I can force more water down tomorrow. Gen :-) 12/15/12 -

A person that advocates for patients. Such as allowing you to stay a other night since it was already approved by insurance and emotionally you can't do the drive right now. Have you signed discharge papers? If not, request a patient advocate first. Gen :-) 12/15/12

I went in on a Saturday surgery. Home Tuesday and I, even though I missed my daughter was happy for the extra time. I was able to rest, walk, sleep. So if you have it, want to then take the extra time. Please take care of yourself physically and emotionally. That is #1 right now. I should have read all post first. I'm so sorry. Call a patient advocate. Is the Dr your surgeon? Gen :-) 12/15/12

Great loss Mrs Blues. I have found that there are foods I don't wish to even try. Pizza was my fav before, but I honestly don't really even wNt it anymore. I generally buy the Ezekiel bread. How easy is it to make it. Mind sharing the recipe for your bread. I found so many recipes online. My daughter loves the English muffins. Gen :-) 12/15/12 -

Cucumber sandwiches coming from Egg Face website: two slices of cucumber, your choice of meat, your choice of cheese. I love cucumbers and can't wait. I'm having smoked turkey and Colby cheese. You can use a dip such as mustard, etc for the sandwiches. Gen :-) 12/15/12 -
