Don't forget about papaya enzymes everyone. You can get them at Walmart, chewable. Really does help if something isn't sitting to well with your pouch. My daughter has even taken them when her dinner didn't sit right in her tummy. She loved that it helped her relatively quickly. It's ok, trust me that you haven't. That just means the pouch is accepting what you're putting in it. As I got further along is when I had issues with it. I would forget and start eating too fast,or chicken was too dry. There are just various reasons. So just enjoy that you haven't yet and hopefully won't. Congrats!!! Gen :-) 12/15/12

I am so happy for you. You ROCK :-) That is awesome for your future health and great that thAt goal has been checked off. That is why many of us have this surgery. Out of all of it I really miss my daughter. This in and out of the hospital is hard. It just brings out a lot of negative emotions for me. About ex and him not caring to take care of his daughter. About everything he's done. But honestly, I think she would rather him not be around. I'm about 140 miles from my daughter and it isn't easy. She said sue them too. Thank you everyone through this hard time. I'm having difficulty drinking and eating. I'm afraid I've started hair loss. My Aunt is going to bring me some isopure peach mangos protein drinks tomorrow. Tonight I was able to choose a very good dinner w came to 38 proteins. Which was good for 1 meal. I just want to feel better and be at home w my baby. I really wished we would hear from simplySouthern. Quite worried about how she is doing. Gen :-) 12/15/12

Trust me I cried when they told me a kidney was basically compromised. Tomorrow they will use the Ct to drain the abscesses, then I should know a day or two later if it helped my kidney. If not then surgery, so they can place a stent from kidney to bladder. I'm very scared. Gen :-) 12/15/12

So new news: last night released from hospital. They said I was fine, CT came back normal, which it actually didn't cuz we were told CT results the night before. So I was pissed cuz they were releasing me when I still had so much pain. I said fine, called my dad and he said he will take me to his hospital. So I told the hospital I was at fine, release me, I'm going to another hospital. So then they brought my surgeon in which was a waste of time. He just got rude and ask me what test I want him to run. I said any test u have to to make me better. Waste of time. The checked me out at 830pm. I went home slept and my dad took me to his hospital this morn. Determination: I have an infection below my bladder. 2 abscesses below my bladder. 1 kidney is swollen and ureter blocked. My surgeon last night told me to go home. Of I had not come back to the hospital and left it as is, I would have became majorly infected possibly loss at least 1 kidney, or who knows what my medical state would have become. So now I'm on IV antibiotics. Will have abscesses drained tomorrow. Then hopefully 2 days later my kidney will be close to normal. If not, then surgery for a stent to allow kidney to drain into bladder and that surgery is worse case scenario. Gen :-) 12/15/12

Was admitted to the hospital. Don't know what's really happening other than an inflamed bladder. No infection. Will remain here til pain can be controlled by something other than IV Gen :-) 12/15/12

At theER. I went to my family Dr and they reviewed the urinalysis. Turns out no bladder infection. Just in case ran another, still not one. They called surgeons office and they to me to go to ER right away for testing. I'm scared they messed up my bladder. Gen :-) 12/15/12

After I'm fully recouped from this last surgery (man it was a butt kicker) and have my life back on track, (1 1/2 month tops). I'll be on the prowl with you girl, grrrrawl :-) Gen :-) 12/15/12

For a 3oz chicken tender, I can eat half. Then I have to wait a little bit, then I'll eat one of those small fruit cups. That was dinner tonight actually, lol. Then I'm "stuffed" or satisfied. Gen :-) 12/15/12

Me too. Tomorrow I have to go back in for another urinalysis. I've had this monster a week now. I have stopped running fever, however, yell out in pain and cry every time I go pee. It hurts so darn bad. Gen :-) 12/15/12

My daughters grade's did that when my ex started what he did. She was always an A (maybe a B or two). I didn't know what to do but reinforce my rules about grade and her losing her privileges. So about 2 years ago is when this happened, I took her cell til her grades came back up. Trust me I didn't want too. Because a major family crisis is what did it, shook her off her path. But the kids need to know that stuff happens that may blow your world apart but there still needs to be normalcy. Part of the is going to school and maintaining grades. Tell him no matter how well you are doing or if he thinks you're not feeling well, that he can always come to you for anything!!!! Gen :-) 12/15/12

I have been having problem getting protein in. I've noticed I can eat fruit and veggies. But the shakes and meat I can't handle right now. So I picked up some isopure fruit protein drink w/ 40g protein in 20 oz bottle. So far I've tried mango peach. I also got 3 other flavors to try, we'll see. Gen :-) 12/15/12

I made it to onederland (199.2) today. I would like to say it feels awesome but still have a lot of pain, so it's a goal that can't be enjoyed right now. Doing better on eating n drinking today and managing pain or trying too. Gen :-) 12/15/12
