Hi Everyone I am 4 days post op and feeling a lot better everyday. I have a question, so I was put on a liquid diet for two weeks, I have just been eating jello and drinking water. I am taking sips and eating 1oz of jello every 15 mins. And I am just trying to figure out my limits but don't want to go over board and start dumping. How much are you all eating or drinking and how do you know when to stop?

Yea I'm getting back to my protein cause its weird....having a regular stomach I knew when I was hungry and knew when I was full because I would over eat. Having a smaller stomach I don't want to test the waters and over eat/drink because of dumping and can't tell if I'm hungry cause I eat/drink every 15mins. How many incisions did they do on your stomach? I thought it was suppose to be four and I counted 6 total. Two on my left side, two on my right side, one under my breast bone And one in the belly button. Is this normal or has anyone else had more than 4 incisions? HW 270lbs SW 258lbs Goal Weight 170

Oh ok, yeah I get that....they found a hiatus hernia on top my stomach so I am guessin that is why I have a lot of incisions. I am feeling ok, feeling nauseous here and there and still skeptical on what to eat for my post op liquid diet. I would rather just not eat anything so I don't get sick but I know I need to put something in my stomach. I am taking each day with baby's steps. Thank you so much for asking? Just get tons of rest and walk when you can....and congrats on joining the loser bench

Thanks, that is what I have been doing just sipping a little at a time. I guess I will have to wait and see, and get the full feeling and knowing when to stop I appreciate it thanks again I

Haha yup, I even told my doctor that they need a different flavor drink for the xray shot. And it should taste something like the pill. He just laughed and said he will look into it.

Aren't those good, lol I enjoyed those a lot cause they had a good freshness to them. But it sure did taste a lot better than that. Drink we had to take to see if there was any leaks. It was horrible. Lol
